Alloryen, Northern Sylvari Kingdom

Alloryen, Northern Sylvari Kingdom

Above is the map of Alloryen, the northern elven kingdom of Antaron. The three elven nations, while technically sovereign, are truly provinces of the greater Sylvarian empire. Hyanda Nost (Blade Keep) is the first line of defense on the border of the Khordalt mountains. While the elves and dwarves have been at peace for centuries, the elven memory is very long, and they remain ever watchful. Similarly, Isilme-Ishtel (Moonlit Castle) gaurds the border against the wildlands of the Chakran mountains. Ela-Isthtel is the crown jewel of the elven north, a wondrous place that other races are never allowed to see. The city is both breathtakingly beautiful and functional. Aratar Barad is an ancient tower where many important pieces of elven history - artifacts, scrolls, and more - are kept safe. The Lindelea Elin sing with the songs of the water sprites and such; it is quite a playful place. The Duin Shee Dalnya literally has tiny footprints from unseen faeries along the water's edge. No one is quite sure why they walk along the water's edge. Perhaps they lost a favored toy or trinket in the water? Legends say the queen of faeries died ages past and they walk the edges of the water waiting for their next queen to arise from the waters. As the footprints continue to appear, it seems that she must still be lost.
