Olan's thoughts for this strip:
Here we are, on the cusp of the moment we've all been waiting for. No, not a new comic, smarty pants - clearly, we have one of those. I mean, here we are, at the final fight between the party and the big bad guy.

Speaking of lateness - I once again apologize for my total suck. We moved office locations at work last week, and as the I.T. guy, I got to handle everything that uses electricity in any way; this resulted in some long hours for me. On the "good news" front, Annick has already completed the line art for the next two strips, so we should be able to start hitting deadlines.

Really! Quit laughing. Jerks. **sniffle**

Steve (narrator): "The party makes it the rest of the way to the abbot's bedchamber without being disturbed."

Brad: "This is it!"

Amy: "Guys, we need to be smart, here. We've seen how quickly he can take us down."

Ray: "Right. Warriors in the front, the rest of you behind us. Make that fire count!"

Steve (narrator): "As expected, the ice haunt is waiting for you. He braces for your charge."

Steve (narrator): "At first, the fight goes overwhelmingly in your favor."

Steve (narrator): "The warriors punish the ice haunt with their blades."

Steve (narrator): "Jhim blasts the creature with his magic."

Steve (narrator): "Dalana buries a flaming arrow into its frigid flesh."

Steve: "But nothing good lasts forever..."
