Cast into those barren places,
No sign of green, into the wastes,
It's heart now frozen, deep in stasis,
Forever now alone.
Hated first in battle fight,
Then again, no knowledge slight,
But most dispised for beauty bright,
Rejected, to danger prone.
So off they flew, into the dark,
Not a word, a deed, nor bark,
Unto, now, their burden hark,
In heart's strongest chain.
For though their bodies' were trapped thus,
Off flew their heart and souls to us,
Accepted, we them, without fuss,
And in our hearts remain.
One day off, in time and space,
When silence rules the outer space,
To their freedom they'l give chase,
They'll fly free again.
