Ok, I've posted for Ash so we can split up and post each of our actions. I'll take your posts as the confirmation and start my post of Asher heading to the jailhouse.

Ash listened as he slipped the six flashbangs into the pockets of his dust, he was surprised and pleased to see a couple gas grenades in the pouch too. After Wolf said his piece Ash added,“Well I betcha they have a lookout in one the tall building to alert them to what’s goin on. That’d be the saloon, the jail and the bank. If we split up we can cover um all. We take out the lookout and then that’ll leave the ambushers blind to what’s going on in town. We might even be able to spot’um from up there too. I’ll take the jail cuz I been in there and I have a feeling there may be a not so sweet girly up there gunn’in for us. Winnie’s brother’s a deputy now so she’d be able to get in. There’s a bit of open ground to get there, hopefully the dark’ll help me slipp’in on it. There’s a back door so I try that. Wolf’s been to the bank so he knows it too. That leaves the saloon, I know ya ain’t been there Andrew but it’s easy to get in and get to the roof and Wolf can show the way over to it. If we go on foot we won’t draw much attention. I’ll slip back in and ask Doc if he’ll talk to the Tong, they trust him and he’ll know where they’ve gone. I’ll ask him to tell um if say we say Miss Willow they’ll know we’re not the bad guys. If ya got a communicator put’er on vibrate an key it three time for help, I’ll give it a single after so you know it’s me, Wolf you can bump it twice and Andrew you give it an extra three. That’ll let us know where we’re needed to let a hand. “Ash waited for Wolf’s and Andrew’s confirmation that they agreed.

Is there a back door to the jail or just a street side entrance? Are there stairs out side or inside, Ash would know the building having been sheriff for a bit. He'd know how to get to the roof. Ash will sneak along the back of buildings on main street using them as cover, going around the street side is too open.

Ok I saw your PM Ye Olde. How about Ash take the jailhouse, Andrew to the saloon and Wolf to the bank? Do we each have a communicator?

I'll have Ash talk to Doc about finding the Tong and then head out to jailhouse.

Ho,ho... I'd say Winnie is on top of the jailhouse. Good view of the port and might see lights at Doc's.

Do we want to go on foot to sneak up, the mule will attract attention?

YeOlde,

We don't know that you guys were spotted going to Doc's. That would mean the ambushers are on same side of town, only we don't know where. Need to check the map some and speculate where we might hole-up to ambush and then sneak up and see. I doubt they are on top buildings, they would figure Wyatt would head the mine so that's where they should be. They would let them in the trap and then cut off any escape. So check areas between the port and the mine?

Did some more rereading, Winnie spotted the mule from some spot high enough to see both the port when the Roc landed and Doc's. It reads that there are two groups, Bridgett,s and the sheriff's. Bridgett's group is on the south side east of the port in the gulch. Its other group that is fuzzy, I'd guess Winnie is on the ridge north west of town, she close enough to tell three folks left the ship and was able to see the dim lights of the mule, what's your guess on best location. First I though Boot Hill but may be too far south to see the lights of the mule.

We may have to NPC Wolf for a bit while Tann is out.

I want to have Ash run back and have Doc alert the Tong, we are right in the middle of the Tong area and next to the burnt Temple, according to the map. Doc is trusted and he would know where they have gone. We can use a code "Miss Willow" to let them know we're not the sheriff's men. Al can play the Tong as our Ace in hole or another menace.

I agree, I thought we headed across the bridge and were gathering for the next move into the castle. We would need to see the the courtyard and such to make our next move. Haven't heard from Van for while though.

Also Tann will be out for while, he broke both his collar bones.

On the map, where is Doc's? I would guess the Wolf came in on the road that runs by the school so we are at that end of town.

Options:

Follow the rail behind the school and come in behind the mine.

Circle around the other side of town and straight to the mine.

Boldly go down main street and get blast or get blasted.

Cool I was just looking for old map. I just sent Tann a PM and post above an idea to maybe recruite the Tong.
Every little bit helps,...sometimes. I hate seeing the party split, but that's a long trip to the mine. I'm for going through town and evening the score. Never really was great at tactics, let's go kill bad guys.

With his Psyche in the amulet is Ulthok aware that he is in there and can he still think (so I can post those thoughts) and would he be aware of what is happening around his body, kind of out of body experence or is he just in a cozy place waiting.

Maybe Ash can hop off and ask Doc to contact the Tong to help Miss Willow and her friends. Then we can head to the mine or into town to hunt deputies.

Subject: Set a Spell

Monster Summoning 1 /
Range: Special Components: V, S, M
Duration: 2 rds. + 1 rd./level Casting Time: 3
Area of Effect: 30-yd. radius Saving Throw: None
Within one round of casting this spell, the wizard magically conjures 2d4 1st-level monsters (selected by the DM, from his 1st-level encounter tables). The monsters appear anywhere within the spell's area of effect, as desired by the wizard. They attack the spell user's opponents to the best of their ability until either he commands that the attacks cease, the spell duration expires, or the monsters are slain. These creatures do not check morale, but they vanish when slain. Note that if no opponent exists to fight, summoned monsters can, if the wizard can communicate with them and if they are physically able, perform other services for the summoning wizard. In rare cases, adventurers have been known to disappear, summoned by powerful spellcasters using this spell. Those summoned recall all the details of their trip. The material components of this spell are a tiny bag and a small (not necessarily lit) candle.

Now I win.

Until you posted that you saw this I forgot all about it.

Thank the gods for Ulthok's amulet of life protection. According to that description, his psyche didn't leave the physical plane, it just went into his pendent. No raise dead/resurrect for him, just heal the body and let him reenter it! Woo Hoo!

Cor and Conall have been with Ulthok since the start of the game and should know about the amulet, so they can heal him instead of raising him. Ulthok shouldn't loose any Constitution from the healing.

I love you guys!

Game On!

+1 Applaud to each of you.

This is great on campouts and it'll go with the Dump Cake.

Start heating a coffee pot of water. In a small bowl use 1 tablespoon of regular grind, high-grade, fresh coffee for each cup, plus a couple extra for the pot. Stir one egg into the coffee, shell and all, until the egg is thoroughly mixed and the coffee is moist.

The water should now be at a rolling boil. Dump the coffee into the boiling water and let it "roll" gently for a minute or so but no longer! Set the pot back off the heat and dash in a cup of cold water. This settles the grounds.

The prime shortcoming of this method is that a small quantity is difficult to brew, but hey, who needs less than 16 cups. This recipe can be found in an old cookbook called " Family Campers' Cookbook" by Bill Riviere.

BTW, it gets its name from how the pile of grounds looks when you dump it out after the coffee is gone. The egg congeals the grounds into a big black lump.

Doc saw that Corbin had positioned himself to cover the rear so he prepared to move across the bridge. He motioned to sarge that he would follow behind the Captain and Greta. Jack hoped Troy would move out ahead of them so he could keep an eye on him too. Doc would try to check the sarge's wound the next time they took cover. The team didn't need Troy getting weaker from blood loss.

(O.O.C. A little short but it gets us going over the bridge.)
