Sounds like a plan, Al. Where would you like us to post the little character blurbs? Or would you rather them be PMed?

Thanks Mysterion! Handsome character then?

I said next to the storage room, now that I've got it labeled, so its room 11. Hooray!

Whoops. Easy fix ~ I'll update the last post so I'm not clogging up the system with extra photos.

I like it. (Aside from the whole Grugg gets the biggest room!) I'll take the room next to the storage room!

I'll get this done up soon with the original map if you'd like.

PS~ I've reinstalled Spore. I never did get to the spaceship building section, but I'll try my darnedest to get there this time and try to build Destiny in it!

Sounds good to me. Eliminating the heads would give room 16 the same dimensions as 17, plus give us a nice straight shot from the stairs there. Any suggestion as to where to put stairs from the cargo bay upto the middle deck?

The program that I am using is GIMP , which is a program kinda sorta like Photoshop, but free!

The font is called Chow Fun. I downloaded several for DMing purposes ~ that one seemed to fit!

Oh man. Medical. I keep looking at the cargo bay, and I can't figure it out without seriously modifying it. Al asked up to keep it within reason with the current walls. Here's an updated pic ~ hopefully I can squeak by with the head mod. You can see the stairs leading down (hopefully) there to the utility deck.

hence the 'move the head' comment under the picture. I just worry about carrying a wounded person up circular stairs. If we move the head to what would be just above the circular stairs before I removed them, that would give at least 5'-10' of landing for the stairs.

Just playing around with some ideas.

Like I said ~ cramped.

Exactly! My thought was to use the Utility Deck (20) as a main throughfare.

Better layout for guest quarters so they aren't passing through the engine room?

*image removed*

edit: whoops, forgot to remove the 10. Oh well.

second edit: so, after doing that, realized that this was the upper deck, not the middle deck. Stairs aren't going to work like that in the main area, but it'll be good for the guest quarters. Man, she's a bit cramped.

Can we move Upper Deck head above Middle Deck head, and use new space for stairs? Plumbing would make better sense that way. Maybe use upper deck head as shower area too?

Yup. That's kinda what I was thinking. Access through the ends Utility deck, not neccesarily up through the level. She a little cramped, but just my style. *winks*

Stairs through the utility deck? That would avoid the engine room, and it looks like there is room.

(holy cow ~ no posts between mine. )

Tess will take number 12. I've got things to add as far as the shiply outfitting goes, but I'm too bloody tired after work to address them. Maybe later.

Well.... it's worked so far. Better not change my plan ^_^. Although, to be safe, (and since I'm already bruised) if there is the chance that I'm going to get beaten to a pulp, let's use an awesome point and avoid that.

also, if something catches on fire during the game, I would cry tears of joy.

I'm going to be honest, I like both Destiny and Xuan Zi. Well, Yuan Fen or Xuan Zi, but, again, I like Mandarin.

Oooo.... I love the quirk! Is that something we incorperate into our RPing on our own, or is that an event that you determine, Alacrity?

I'll buy that for a credit, Mysterion. Call her "Destiny". Those of us who salvaged her named her Yuan Fen, which translates to "Destiny that ties people together". Short version: Destiny.

Thoughts?

Mysterious Beauty is Xuan Zi. This implies a kind of dark mystery.

I like it. Plus I'm partial to Zan Zhan, Chan Xio, and definatly Al's suggestion of Rao Nei Yali. (what can I say? I like Mandarin)

Would you like us to post up little blurbs here, or somewhere else?

I've put together some Mandarin names for our ship based on description (and, well, out of love for her since we've spent a huang miu amount of time on our beloved Jei-Jei to get her up and running) ~ let me know what you think, or if you'd like some other Chinese combination/name. Or if you'd rather go with English.

You Ya Qi ~ graceful star

Wu Ye ~ midnight

Zan Zhan ~ swift sparrow (kinda like "go go!")

An Ying ~ dark falcon

Qi Yi ~ Star Hawk

Chan Xiao ~ beautiful night

its true ~ its cliche. However, Tess was an Independant pilot, so she has the chance to have flown.... innumeral fellow comrades. I wasn't really thinking about the whole "Mal and Zoe we've-been-through-hell-and-back" kind of deal.

PS ~ I won't mess with you. You keep my soft and squishy parts inside.
