Waaaaaaaay long ago, maybe when I was 14 or so, there was a member in our table top group that was always a rogue/assassin type. He always managed some way to get the ability to hide while observed, and almost never stopped using it.

"You encounter a wandering merchant"
"I hide, and begin observing him for a death attack"
"He's a merchant..."
"I don't trust him, he's clearly a spy."

He even did this to other PCs. If they split up he always figured it was a plot by his partner to kill him while he was by himself, and almost always launched a pre-emptive strike and fled the scene.

He wasn't even just being in character, he was literally positive the group was going to kill him.

Well, Id probably avoid moving the wounded if they're going to stop bleeding profusely. Get them in a state where we can move them to the grocery store. Then stage a fiesta. Tacos for all!

Waiting for Tiamat (though he can't really give much in-game input) and Malek while we're at it.

Not trying to hijack the group of course, Teddy just sees it as his job to protect the group, and leaving the group in two separate stores is a good way to get them killed.

Plus Teddy wants food, he is an old fat man goddamnit.

Jesus? And I am willing to provide an alternative answer in the case of dissent. <_<

I just think if we leave Mac/Emily behind with anyone, we are going to end up in the same situation if we have them with us if not worse.

A) We leave them behind with...someone. Zombies attack and we're separated. Both sides have less guns, injured get cut off and maybe die?

B) We take them with us. Zombies attack. We have more guns to hold out, and if we have to flee and they get left behind, it's not worse than A.

C) I sing songs of praise. Zombies attack. See the lord. Crazy sexy party.

I should mention that Teddy would be against splitting the party as he feels he should protect the lot of you. Additionally, he'd probably suggest carting the wounded over to the grocery store in a wheelbarrow or some such. 6+ more zombies is more than one guard could take. Hell I think Ive only got 6 bullets left.

Shoot the wounded in the skull.

Then shoot the non-wounded.

Then tape all your corpses together and hide inside, riding you like a massive hamster ball to safety.

My plans often end like this.

Have we made a firm decision on a boat? Theodore could get behind this, and I'd like some info on Olan on the nearest dock/yachtclub/waterpark.

Also, shoot the bees. Goddamn bees.

Teddy's content the people in the store are non-hostile, if a little rude, and intends to enter the store, make introductions and begin discussions.

He has a strong proclivity for anything that doesn't seem like outright flight from "God's tests".

“So long as you promise you won’t eat us you’re welcome to enter. Otherwise we’ll have to smash you into a bloody pulp before you get your dinner.”

Teddy paused a moment, his brow furrowed. The voice sounded like a woman’s, and it sounded less than appreciative. Perhaps she has not yet made peace with the Lord? He had expected this situation may arise, those without faith were often unwilling to see the gifts God had given them. Perhaps this was God’s will, that he help these lost souls understand his gifts.

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” He called out in reply, allowing himself a smile. John 10:10. It was good to speaking God’s word to the people again. Lowering his weapon, Teddy strode toward the hardware store, ready to meet his new congregation.

Im going to go ahead and say Teddy has a strong knowledge of the local area, as I had included local geography in my list of skills.

Also, you don't know me yet, so I'm going to go ahead and say you should deal with that.
