I actually found this site by chance. I'm on another site called Quotev and they also do RPGs on there. I was making an elf character for a game but didn't know what to call him so I posted on my activity that I needed help to come up with a name for my elf. One of my followers replied to my post and said that he Googled fantasy name generators and RDI came up, which he gave me the link to.

I explored the site and saw that in a way it is similar to Quotev because you can roleplay. I've been a long time lover of fantasy and dragons and love to roleplay the fantasy genre, so naturally I joined RDI because it was just perfect for me.

And I'm real glad I did!

Is Cor a mage?

And is Arandur a mage? I mean, he can cast spells. Or is a mage class different from Ranger and Cleric classes?

Tann, what do you mean by 'everyone can'?

Arandur is wary. He won't interfere because he knows nothing of the situation. He prefers to analyse first.

Topic: The Trilogy War
Subject: Friend or Foe...?

Arandur exited the tavern with the rest of his companions, squinting at the glaring sun as he cast his eyes up to search for his loyal hawk.
'Talon, my friend,' he called once he saw him, the bird swooping down to perch on his master's shoulder once more.

It was time to move on. As Arandur made his way forward with the others, his gaze darted around at the unusual sights, his pointed ears flicked in annoyance like a horse's at the noises that were almost deafening to his enhanced elf-hearing. He suddenly felt a pressure on his hand and he tensed, wondering who had made contact with him. He pulled his eyes from his surroundings and focussed them on the source of the sudden touch. He discovered his young sister gripping his hand tightly as she, too, cast her eyes around warily. The male elf returned the gesture, but his was of comfort.

'Hush, now, sister,' he consoled her, 'we must be brave. Do not worry, for I will forever be at your side.'

They eventually made it to a large castle and continued on to the general's room. Being an elf from the great forest, Arandur was not used to so much stone surrounding him. It made him feel chilled and morbid as the stone seemed to absorb all the light that bathed it from the flickering candles to the crackling torches and wood fires. This place was a far cry from the bright wooden homes of his race, warm and cheerful.

Humans seem to have similar habitats to dwarves, Arandur noted. The more time I spend with the two races, the more I see the resemblance they have towards each other.

Finally, they reached their destination and Arandur was once again alert to his surroundings. He was in a very unfamiliar place, after all. It would not do to grow lax in his awareness lest he wished to receive any unwelcome surprises. Looking around, he saw knights lining the walls, standing alert, their swords sheathed but lances in hand. Banners, shields with swords crossed behind them and various tapestries decorated the otherwise drab stone walls, a welcome relief for Arandur as he was beginning to grow tired of seemingly endless grey stone. He halted with the rest of his company and waited patiently, ears and eyes ever alert. What Arandur assumed was meant to be a polite exchange, became a commotion and he stood tall, looking over the shoulders before him as he watched the tense proceedings.

One of their number, an aged wizard he remembered was named Allanon, was attempting to cast an incantation upon a human girl whom Arandur had not seen before so knew nothing about. Was this girl friend or foe? What had she done to cause Allanon to react to her in such a dramatic manner? Cor demanded the girl to provide the group with an explanation and Arandur, knowing nothing of the situation, refrained from interfering, lest he inadvertently do something that would place his companions in any danger, especially Rayden. So he just stood perfectly still and observed the proceedings silently and intimately.

Arandur is very protective of Rayden, so if he senses an unfriendly spell that could potentially harm her, he's going to do his best to stop it before she gets hurt.

As the title says, I'm looking for another game to play in, preferably a medieval fantasy, the classic D&D kind, you know? Dragons, elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, the usual. I'm currently in Trilogy War and it's great, but I'd like to play in another as well.
Hope to roleplay with you soon!

Thanks!

Topic: The Trilogy War
Subject: A Decision to Decide the Fate of Many...

Arandur was unable to reply to the dwarf's frank words straight away, instead just staring at Cor as the weight of the huge decision weighed heavily on his narrow shoulders. For such a little being, the dwarf was placing such a large burden on the elf. The decision should of been a very simple one: stay mute about Kakaranatha's true tyrannical nature and be shown mercy by the she-dragon, thus saving them all from a grisly demise. However, the millions of innocents in the realm deserved and needed to be made aware of the potential threat that darkened the land, lest they perish due to their ignorance of the situation-and it would be Arandur and his companions to blame for that ignorance. The elf would feel a shame too unbearable to endure if, because of their actions, they sealed the fates of millions to suffer that which they did not deserve.

Arandur's mouth suddenly felt like a desert floor completely devoid of moisture, which he tried in vain to wet. He glanced at the tankard of mead next to his sharp elbow but resisted the urge to partake of the liquid. He had no desire to express his discomfort and even fear to his companions-fear for all the citizens of the realm and their uncertain fate.

What do I choose? He wondered. Whatever I do decide may seal the fates of all those around me and if I decide wrong...he swallowed again, hardly succeeding past his sticky throat. Am I cursed to live the rest of my immortal life with the fact I have doomed the lives of all those beings due to my innability to make the right choice? Oh, Father, what an impossible task you have charged me with!

Everyone's attention was upon him, rapt and awaiting his next words, eager to hear what he had to say. The elf had no choice, he had to inform his companions of the decision he had made now...except he had not yet made one. He pondered hard his options, carefully examining each with the same keen eye and dedication as a master artist does with his masterpiece. Finally, he had made his choice, though he prayed to all the merciful gods that his decision was the best one.

'As much as the citizens deserve and need to be aware of this threat,' he started, his voice slightly raspy due to his dry throat and mouth. Clearing his throat, his voice sounded clearer when he resumed his speech, 'the beast has issued her warning to us very clearly and I think we should heed it for we hardly know anything of Kakaranatha's powers or their limits, if indeed they have any limits at all,' Arandur added with a hint of dread. 'Therefore I think, if my dear sister Rayden agrees with me,' here he smiled at her, 'we should hold our tongues until we can fathom with utmost accuracy what the she-dragon's powers and, indeed, what her weaknesses are. If we are the realm's only hope of bringing this beast to heel, then we must proceed with the utmost caution lest we are destroyed prematurely due to our carelessness and recklessness. I just pray that the many innocents of this realm do not pay dearly for our decisions or mistakes.' He ended on that sombre note, casting his emerald eyes down sadly, concern etched upon his face as he studied the wood as though it might contain some clues as to how they should proceed. If there were any answers, though, they eluded him. The elf became tense in the silence that followed, a silence so sharp it seemed as if a thousand razors hung in the air. He waited warily for his companions' response.
