Topic: The Chakran Portal - Q/A
Subject: oh

I sent a message to Brianna about the horses; a reply to earlier questions you had had. Yes, they survived, being out of range of the lizard's attack, and sheltered by closed stables.

I was keeping the Druid for my update if that is alright.

I was going to have them pick their nose, but I guess attacking is a good option

I shall update somewhere in the weekend then!

Topic: Upcoming Movies
Subject: ok

I just saw the new trailer for Hancock, and I think I'm going to take it off my MOVIES TO WATCH!!!-list. It just looks so typical now. Really too bad.

The new Dark Knight trailer is actually making me even more eager to see that movie (which I didn't think was possible).

Philosopher has posted a note about being away for a little (a week or something).

Jozan has been on and off in any game he is in lately, and with lately I mean the past couple of months.

Should I find another player? Or are we continuing the fight with two players (Ayrn and Sib), one spectator (Sui) and NPCed rest of the team?

too digital? I read that they tried as hard as possible not to use too much digital and give the movie the feel like it was made in the late 80s, early 90s.

I'm not too worried about the digital part.

Topic: Age Of Friggen Conan!
Subject: never do them

I never did any mmo's, because you hear stories all around of people not wanting to do anything but play them.
My friends played Lineage, and it was so annoying not to play, because they would be talking about it none-stop. But I also saw the downsides: buying stuff to upgrade, the amount of time, and the lateness of events (being in another time frame than the US).

But Valimar, you can consider yourself smitten if you go kick people conan-style over updating your own zombie-game!

The most sickening thing he had ever seen. Definitely.

Perhaps not the most horrific, because he had experienced his share of heart stopping situations, but this was definitely the most gruesome discovery he had ever undergone. But through his dreadful attempts to refrain from vomiting again, Lucas couldn’t help but feel his curiosity rising.
He was pleased to see that Carrell understood the gravity of his discovery. It was a terrifying discovery, though Lucas saw opportunities as well. What could he learn from this?

A unnatural compulsion to keep eating… eating a food illogic to the species. A strange mutation of the Prader-Willi Syndrom?

He looked at Carrell, but was reluctant to share his thoughts with the man. Although they were together on this, Vandervoort didn’t like the idea of sharing knowledge that could lead to his personal fame. Everybody knew that shared accomplishment took away from people’s recognition of brilliance. If Einstein would’ve head a helper, everybody would’ve wondered if it was him that was the genius, or his aid.
It was best not to say anything.

Lucas got on his feet. He eyed the soldiers, who were a nervous mass of nut-brains with a Do As You’re Told mentality that was the army’s biggest strength AND flaw.

If they taught them to think, they wouldn’t be so scared right now. Mentality is an advantage.

He couldn’t help but feel superior. Still, in all his superiority, he was still standing with his feet in the dirt. He tried to get his head clear, because he needed to think this over. He felt that he was close to reaching a thought that would explain the deer’s behavior, but he got side-tracked by that stupid song that was in his head.

“let me try,
With pleasured hands,

To take you and the sun to
Promised lands
To show you every one,
It’s the time, of the season ... SHUT UP”
He wanted to smack himself in the head, but that would not help him. He would have to give in to time, and come back to the thought later. The samples should help him think.

Another long moan hit them then, and Mosher was engulfed by fear. Looking at the young kid, Vandervoort felt a shudder of chilly needles run through his spine. The young doctor’s fright was contagious, and he suddenly felt a strong urge to get away himself.

“There is something very wrong with this deer.” He tried to speak without using medical terms so that the soldiers would understand. “We need to go back to the hummers so that I can inspect these samples. We need to take in consideration that there might be more of these sick animals out there. Let’s go, now.”

He turned, and pulled Carrell to his feet. Not that he cared for the man. It was just that he didn’t want the doctor to have more time to ponder over the insides and get some revelation that would make them competitors. He didn’t like competition.
Still, he managed a thin smile at Carrell, to keep up appearances, and nodded with his head into the direction they had come from.

(OOC: Is it possible to take a quick picture of the deer’s stomach with some of the equipment? I didn’t think you said we had cameras, but I may be wrong.)

We all know Draven's not emo, but it was funny.

Draven is just cold and hard and doesn't take crap. Emos pretend to be cold, are softies and like to take crap so they have something to feel emo about.

Cdn will update her post a bit, so that some aspects from a private rp-session between her and Valimar can add a bit more detail to why she had Alyssia act like she did.

Also, I'm not going to update tomorrow, though I want to. I feel like there is a lot for you guys to talk about. An update would ruin the opportunity you have to sort things out. I'm very curious for one to see Geim's reaction to Draven's words.

Your fifth... wow, congratulations in advance! Thanks for the notice.

And Sui, I didn't mean it in a bad way, really. I'm very curious how you are all going to deal with Percifeer's behaviour. It's not speeding up the process of coming to a conclusion, even though that is what she's trying to accomplish.

Ayrn, you're right dude! I just read the page, and it's right there:

If you have a base attack bonus of +1 or higher, you may draw a weapon as a free action combined with a regular move.

It's right there! Insanity. It also reads that with the two weapon feat you can draw 2 light or one-handed weapons in the time it would normally take you to draw 1. haha... years of move actions wasted!

So you do get an attack this round, Ayrn.

And Sui, that post is going to stir things up again badly...

Topic: Filthy Thief Q/A
Subject: check other time

I'll have to read that page some other time. In all my years of table top and online gaming, drawing a weapon was a move action. That was why the 'Quick Draw' came in handy. If you had to draw a weapon and walk somewhere, you still got your attack.

I'll get back to this later. Tomorrow or something. Don't have access to the book right now.

Topic: Filthy Thief Q/A
Subject: mom?

After his mom, huh? Riiiiiight

Sui, please don't keep waiting too long, and don't let it depend on when other players post. If everybody does that... well, you get the idea.

Ayrn, I read your OOC, and I'm a little stunned... how does your class get all those extras at 4th level... wow...

I'm going to trust you in this, and will ask for your help. I'd like you to tell me each round what your bonuses will be, like you did now. I have no experience with this class, and I really appreciate the explanation.

As for actions: drawing a sword is a move action, unless you have the 'Quick Draw' feat, which you don't. That means this round you can only move, or revise your post and wait another round.
