Gamard the Grim is wearing soft boots, pants, shirt, a Knight of Holy Anger War Tunic (a type of Hide Armor) and a Head Band to tie his hair back with a Holy Symbol stitched on the front of the Head Band that crosses his forehead.

Spells Prayers: 4 1st
His deity is Solanis, God of Light and Life and that gives him the Granted powers:
cast light twice per day, turn undead as if one level higher

Background: His parents were assigned to transport Shrooms from the Mushroom Fields deep within the Khord Kingdom to a variety of places on the surface world of Audalis.

On a journey to Sendria his family was attacked by a band of Shroom Raiders and they seized the 15 year old Gamard with the intent of ransoming him or selling him or worse, but when they beheld his deep purple eyes the superstitious Shroom Raiders recoiled in horror, believing the young Khord to be cursed and his family and Shrooms as well.

They burned the Shroom Wagons, but fled away into the dark forests, leaving the Khord family to find their own way back to their Khord Kingdom and were greatly disgraced.

Gamard and his parents were forced to work in the Shroom Fields to repay the lost shipments and were stripped of their station as Shroom Transporters. Gamard was an outcast due to this misfortune, but he remained in the Shroom Fields for 5 years until Age 20 when he was banished by the Khord Elders for challenging their ruling regarding the disgrace upon his parents.

So he decided to 'Go West Young Khord' and began a journey towards Bayris; having had no real allegiance to any particular deity as a result of his parents disgrace, the wandering Gamard the Grim as he began calling himself (chip on his shoulder) came upon a group of Solarin Priests ,who were secluded in the woods between Sendria and Jaycern, who invited him to join their order (the Knights of Holy Anger).

Gamard the Grim spent the next 10 years in service to the Knights of Holy Anger as they trained him in their ways of service to Solanis.

From age 30 to 55 Gamard the Grim was allowed to journey with various Priests of Solanis as an apprentice to learn how to interact with the various races of Audalis as a Priest of Solanis; while dealing with the Evils they were sworn to eliminate.

At that time, he was free to go out on his own, but Gamard the Grim chose to spend another 2 years in a Temple of Solanis (near Bayris) where he learned more from a 'retired' Knight of Holy Anger before venturing out on his own as a Priest of Solanis.

At age 57 Gamard the Grim hired himself out as a Cleric of Solanis (think of the Cook in one of those Stephen Segal movies) to bless traveling caravans and did his part to fight when necessary.

Gamard the Grim is presently 59 years of age and has decided to journey to Pardinal aboard the ship 'Minnow' to begin a new journey northward into Ertain and Drannon to search for and destroy the ancient evils reportedly plaguing those regions from the dark bowels of Sendria.

Maithias Crowmarhte was born into a circus family of acrobats, jugglers and trapeze artists traveling from town to town doing up to 3 shows a day. From a very young age, even for a Syl, he was trained to be like his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister all acrobats themselves. His parents, as well the owners of The Crowmarhte Brothers Traveling Circus and Daredevil show, a circus composed of mostly Elf’s with a few trusted Dwarves and Humans mixed in.

However it was not till he was in his late 60’s that he was brought into the families second occupation, working for the Elvin King as spies and gatherer’s of information when the circus traveled in the human lands of Aihrde. For the next 10 years Maithias was trained in the arts of the circus and was quite good at them gaining a reputation for being an outstanding marksmen with both the Long and Short bow.

During this time he met and became friends with one of the circus performers, a male Human named Wanwa’er. Over the course of the next few years the two found themselves getting into quite a bit of mischief and became the closet of friends. Almost always where one was the other was never far away.

However some things are destined to come to a violent end and so such was to be the fate of The Crowmarhte Circus. While traveling the various lands the circus was attacked by a large band of human led dark folk and within a few hours the circus was destroyed and everyone lay dead. Everyone that is but Maithias himself and his friend Wanwa’er, who due to luck and his ability to fly whisked them both to safety.

A few days later healed somewhat he returned to the site of the circus’s destruction and buried its dead. From that day Maithias and Wanwa’er become very close friends, closer then they had all the time with the circus. They took to living in the woods and occasionally hiring out as muscle, guarding caravans, merchants and doing any profitable job that came their way. It was during this time in the woods that Maithias began to feel a bond, a joining of spirit, you could say with nature and its creatures. He began to develop the skills of a woodland warrior slowly turning to his true calling of Ranger yet retaining his skills of an acrobat from the circus.

However all ‘good’ things come to an end in good ways and bad and it was during one job as caravan guards that again tragedy struck. Betrayed from within the caravan was attacked and during a 15 minute fight the raiders were beaten off, one of the drivers found to be in league. However Wanwa’er, Maithias closet and only friend left in Audalis, was killed leaving the Sylvari Ranger mad and alone. While burying his friend, Maithias, now calling himself only Crow, vowed never to love another again............

Born in the sprawling Capitol of Pardinal, to a poor family of the slums, Mal's life began as many of the dock urchins did, panhandling by 5 years old, and hiring onto any ship that would accept him by 10. His skills as a Sailor were the first he honed, and his natural Agility allowed him to do what many others couldn't with little trouble.
By the age of 14, he left his life in his home behind, hiring onto merchant vessels and the like, traveling across much of the coastal cities of the continent. During his many trips, he would pass his little free time with learning whatever he could from his fellow deck hands, primarily swordplay. Times away from sea were spent in Taverns and Brothels, and he was forced to develop a sense of charm in order to survive the dangers of these rowdy places, and keep a few coins before he set out again. Even still, he found himself in many fights, generally drunken brawls, though there were a few times he started the conflict when jumping to the defense of women, Women being a weakness he suffers to this day.
Years passed this way, his life never changing much, though as time went on, he grew more and more religious, believing he had only survived so long by the grace of Cardista, the Patroness of the Sea. By age 19, Mal portioned his now very good income into two parts. The base requirement for survival staying in his pocket, and the rest going to any church of Cardista that he came across (Though he may have kept a few extra coins for the occasional trip to the Tavern).

Badger smiled broadly at the request. That smile that said you were rutting up the deal again. “Sorry to hear you are out of pocket but I don’t pay half up front, certainly not on a first job. Need to establish some trust first. Besides, this is a consignment job – thought that was obvious. I ain’t the one paying you, it will be the Father who will pay up as soon as you arrive on the cruise liner. Badger continued smiling as he let that sink in and then added, “but if you need me to float you some credits, I can offer you a loan to keep you going – at a good rate since we are to be partners.”

As this was going on, JC walked over to the brothers and he offered his hand, attempting to seem friendly.

“JC Kane, nice to be traveling with ya’s. I see you two carry yourselves quite professional, maybe before we start traveling the Black tonight we can do some target shooting and maybe you guys can teach me a few things. Never know what can come in handy in the Black right”

AJ smiled back and shook his hand, “Umm. Thanks for the offer but we have work to do for Badger between now and the meetup tonight.”

The older one looked up at the mention of a name, “JC Kane? I heard of you. You were in the war, heard a lot of stories about how fast you are on the draw and some of the missions you took. Honour to meet you sir. Glad that you made it out alive, too many did not.” He nodded to JC respectfully, “I was a sergeant in the 47th Overlanders Brigade during the war. Sorry but AJ is right, there is a lot we need to do, but I would love to see that draw of yours someday.”

Although there being no real other avenue to go than the portals, the party was perplexed as to which one to take until one of them decided to make a leap of faith and go through. Even once the party did make it through intact, words were spoken in anger and derision as men of action are prone to do when faced with no foe and nowhere to go.

Alôndas looked at the bottle in his hand. It had a silver and orange label with a foreign writing on it.

Looking over the shelves, it appeared that all the bottles were vodka of many different brands and varieties. Some bottles were extremely dusty while others were not.

Wembley searched the room, looking for secret doors or a mechanism to open a wall but found nothing of interest. In the course of examining the shelves he realizes the shelves are organized by brand alphabetically, the by proof He also noted however that some of the bottles had been removed, there were signs of recent removal of bottles in the dust. The ones missing were of the highest proof.

Suddenly, there was movement from the stairs leading down into this room. A figure leaps into the room, clad in black from head to toes and landing with the grace and poise of a cat. He says nothing but raises a sword made of wood over his head and charges at Alôndas, moving at incredible speed. As soon as he starts to move, the candles in the room all extinguish themselves and you are plunged into darkness.

I be here. What a weekend. birthday birthday birthday.....

I think given the circumstances of this module, conflict is gonna happen. That is actually how a good team can form. However we are also here to play a game and if conflict starts to kill the enjoyment of the game, I have little tolerance for that.

As a DM, I have always dealt with party conflict in a simple way. Wandering Monsters. Nothing ends a conflict faster than an attack where you gotta to get yourselves as a team or you become G-cube food. Consider that please.

Leadership is a double edge sword in online games, as it helps keep the party moving but it also gives a lot of people an excuse to not make decisions for themselves as they wait for the captain to tell them what to do. So we need a balance between a leader and the party thinking on their own. Crow does not need Mal to tell him to look at the tracks. Mal does not need Dudley to tell him to draw his sabre at an oncoming ogre.
