“Mistress?” the mage asks when the Leader is finished speaking, “I think you should tell us about this 'Mistress' that you speak of, otherwise I might let my friend here have at you with his little blade.”

The Monster looks intently at the Sylvari and spat on the floor by his feet. 'I fear neither death nor any torture from the likes of you, Gelfling! . (An insulting term for Sylvari).

Gamard seems to be moving around on his own and his prayer heals his wound sufficiently and brings Crow back to full health and stamina.

Much appreciated Almerin. BTW - Although I do Cure X Wounds by percentages, at low levels I set a minimum amount of healing at 8 hp for CLW, 16 for CSW.

Destiny Outside Anglea’s room. Day Two of Journey. 8:00 am ST

Catie met up with Tess outside of the very small room that Angela had claimed as her own. The two ladies exchanged greetings only when Angela stepped out of her room and nearly walked into Tess and Catie, both apparently watching for her.

"Hey there! Good morning! What can I do for you, Tess?" Angela asked.

Tess smiled, “Just coming to meet with you this morning in case you need help but I’m guessing that you didn’t sleep last night. You know that you can’t do that for all five days we are on route right?”

(assuming some answer from Angela)

“Okay, Angela. Listen up. We wills head to the kitchen, have some breakfast and see how things unfolds today. Observe as much as you can and when the meal is over, report to Grace if you noticed anything, Dong ma?” Tess said firmly knowing that Angela liked to be told what to do. She then turned to her other companion, “Catie – any idea how you think you’ll approach Lilianna today?”

(assuming some response leading into kitchen)

Destiny Galley Day Two of Journey. 9:15 am ST

The brother drank their coffee in silent, exchanging glances at each other that seem to mean something to each other but no one else in the room. Lilianna stayed as far away from Seth as she could and actually moved over to where Catie was working. “Can I help you prepare?” she asked hesitantly, like she wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do, “I never get to cook at home but I have worked in a few soup kitchens and shelters.”

Seth sat alone looking very annoyed. JC came into the galley and sat down beside him. “You know we have a exercise room here if you’d like to get a work out in?” he says, “I could spot you if you’d lik.”

Seth smiled sincerely at the offer, “That would be most welcome, thank you. Unfortunately I must see to the security of ...”

“Oh Seth! The princess wants some girl alone time! Take a gorram hint” Asante said as she drank her coffee. She smiled at JC and asked, “Mine if I join you? I could use a good workout.”

(assuming the three of you go off.)

Grace came in and moved through her routines in a silence.

“Good morning sunshine!” Tess called out as she passed, “Glad you could join the land of the living. Grace.”

Grace gave a slight wave as she poured herself some of the now lukewarm coffee. She took a gulp of coffee before rummaging around to find the oatmeal and kettle. Soon enough, she had her oatmeal and she took her bowl to the table and purposely sat as far from the guest as humanly possible. She was completely unaware that Rick had been watching her ever since she entered the room. AG looked at Rick and then to Grace and rolled his eyes, “Here we go,” he muttered quietly.

Rick moved over to sit down beside Grace. He smiled winningly and said, “Hey, Grace right? I’m Rick, we didn’t get a chance to meet last night when we came abroad. So you are the mechanic for this ship? I have to say I have never seen a mechanic that was so beautiful before.”

AG slapped his palm into his face.

Down the hall Asante, Seth and JC moved to the exercise room. JC could tell that the two travelers did not really like each other by the distance they kept between them and the glance they gave each other’s back. Once in the exercise room, Seth took off his shirt to reveal a white under-vest beneath and took off the gun from his side to place it on a shelf nearby. He began putting the heaviest weights onto the bar. Asante stripped off her business jacket and trousers to reveal a black Lycra mesh body suit underneath. “Is this okay gentlemen or should I go change?”

(all yours Tann, give me some conversation to work with please.)

Subject: as so

As Dudley and Wembley attend to the fallen Khord, Gamard manages to revive himself, sputtering and spitting water out of his lungs and with a nasty head wound, but still alive. He allows himself to lean on the two Cidals as they bring him out of the water.

Alôndas knew he had to move fast for the spell would only keep the creature out for a few minutes at best. The mage kicked the weapon away, removed the belt quickly and upon noticing a necklace, removed it as well. The fabric of the leader’s surcoat was made high quality silk and would make a strong bond for the hands and the leather belt for the feet.

Mal came over to examine the wounded Bugbear but it did not respond to nudging or prompting and seemed to be slowly dying. Mal sighs in disgust, and sticks the tip of his blade into the Beast's wind pipe, feeling satisfaction in destroying the evil goblin-kin's life.

Crow nurses the wounds he ignored to finish the fight. Ivan emerges from the far corner of the room where he has been cowering during the battle, “Whoa dudes. That was heavy man.”

The leader’s belt has a plain dagger in a sheath, a pouch of dried meat strips, a purse with 30 Cullars (Sendria Silver piece) and 10 Bulrin (S. Gold piece), as well as a small blue potion similar to the one his comrade was about to drink before Wembley scored the bulls-eye. His banded armour is very nice but made for someone of a large girth and height and would not suit anyone among the party. Both his boots have long knives in sheaths within. The necklace is gold, with a triangle pendant that has a crystal sphere. Within the crystal sphere is a murky cloud that swirls about on its own. His flail lies on the ground far from the body.

Among the dead, there is a total of 50 Cullars, two more potions and three backpacks (large but useable). There are two swords, two shields, the banded armour (still a bit big for anyone here) and three more daggers. The crossbow is a piece of work with two bolts but no way to reload it. It appears to be a two shot weapon and then useless. The quarrels are carved with runes and the heads are a green stained metal with a crystal sphere, similar to the one on the pendant except here they are filled with a silver liquid like mercury.

The day is wearing on you all. It has been a long time since the ship sank and you swam to this island. With the two “ladies” announcing their services to anyone who enters, two entrances into this room are guarded. This might be a good time to rest, heal the wounded and consider options.

The leader begins to revive. He thrashes around for awhile but is unable to break the bonds that have been put on him. “Oy, Monster. D'ya speak common? Fer yer sake, I hope so... Yer only hope ta live lies in just how helpful we find yer words..." Mal growls menacingly, gripping his saber tightly as he struggles to resist plunging his blade into the monster's throat. Beasts such as this did not deserve life, and the idea of letting it live truly bothered the Swashbuckler.....

It stops struggling and moves itself into a sitting position. “Kill ‘e then.” It says in heavily accented common, “The ‘ission has failed. ‘Y life is forfeit and I will not betray the ‘istress.”

OOC: Both Gamard and Crow are about half hit points

Topic: Destiny Flight - QnA
Subject: EVA on Destiny

Before someone asks, and this came up in the Rocinante game, I feel I should address where the EVA hatches are on the ship. Not that I am planning anything. Well, I am, but that is not the point.

Starting from the lower deck. There is a drop door in the floor of the cargo bay. There is a two man lifepod under the Engineer's cabin, but it has no external access, only interior (not even visible from exterior). The main airlock is a self sealing one for connecting to ships. The external controls for the door have a 108 pin password that changes every 10 minutes based on a Grace algorithm, but only when the ship is in flight or someone actives the security protocols.

Middle Deck: EVA hatch in corridor #14, near stairs.#13, the Hovermule storage has a hatch as well. There is a trap door in the galley #7 that leads to the cargobay #18 (only crew know of this)

Upper deck: There is a shuttle on the top of the ship so there is a EVA Hatch to it. The shuttle has a 108 pin password on both doors that changes every 10 minutes based on a algorithm that Grace does in her head. This is only for external access, not internal. As well there is a Hatch in the ceiling above the circular stair case outside 5-6. That hatch has no external access either, only from within (not even visible from exterior).

Note the shuttle for Destiny is a bit bigger than Rocinante's and it has a drop floor opening as well as to side doors. I should finds someone to draw the ship up for me one day.

Albert - I almost forgot. There is also a drop door on the cargo bay of course. It has two doors to keep the pressure from escaping and it is what you drop decoy missiles from. Jayne used it in the Train job and in the Movie.

Topic: The Gobber King
Subject: battle over

The big bugbear come towards Alôndas with anger in his eyes and rage on its face. But that proves to be his undoing as he swings wildly, missing the Syl mage completely. The spell that Alôndas chose was a fast one, and with a quick incantation, he flashed bright scintillating colours into the creatures face. It reels backwards, stumbles and then falls unconscious to the ground at the Syl’s feet.

Loading another stone to his hoopak, Wembley took aim at the bugbear who had fallen as it was moving qand attempting to bring a potion out of its pouch. He fired at the creature while prattling on with the masseuse. "What of massages do you do? Could you massage my friends and I after we finish with these big guys out here? I think my neck is feeling a little tight. Do you ever have a tight neck? I would imagine giving massages all day would leave you really wound up. I think these big guys out here are really wound up! Oh! Hey! Maybe you could go out there and give them a massage. Oh! I bet they would really like you. Maybe it would help calm them down some, you know? My uncle always says..."

The Masseuse only repeats her usual response that he heard when he entered. The first stone that Wembley shoots is fired just as the Bugbear brings the flask to its lips. The stone shatters the ceramic container and the blue liquid splashes on the floor. He does not wait and quickly fires another that hits the monster in the forehead and the bugbear collapses as still as his leader beside him.

On the other side, the swimming bugbear leaps up out of the water in surprise and roars with displease. He slogs a charge through the water towards Mal and Crow but the two warriors are on him before he can clear the pool. Between the two of them, they deflect his blows and end its life.

The battle is over but Crow is wounded and one of your clerics lies still, face down, in the pool that is turning red now from the blood.

OOC: Two are dead (Mal, Dudley and Crow side) and the other warrior is near dead while the leader is only unconscious.

Mistakes happen, especially with my maps. So we have three FB that you are now holding in reserve?

Now, to make things worse, the exit plan did not consider men on the roof so they may come in the EVA hatch as well. Depends on how many are coming and how many Asher can hit before the missile destroys shuttle#2.

So you may need to reconsider your options. There more EVA doors that do not lead to roof. There is one in the corridor between cockpit and the Galley, there is one in the corridor between the galley and engineering and there is one in the corridor near the infirmary. I have included a pic below but it is not very big.

Albert, when dealing with combat, I like to players to give me as specific as possible to position so I am asking you where is Wolf in the ship specifically. Otherwise I have to assume and I dislike doing so.

Wolf slowly made his way towards the upper EVA hatch placing flash bangs along his way. The first of the six he placed at the doorway between the catwalk platform and the door into the common area and Infirmary. The second and third he placed at the top of the stairs leading from the common area to dining area and the hallway to the engine room. The last three flash bangs he set up as to further delay pursuit giving him and the two body guards hopefully enough time to escape out of the top EVA hatch. With all six flash bangs positioned he only set the third to fire. The other five he would wire to blow as they passed.

The first three you are very specific about but the last three you are not. The last three flash bangs he set up as to further delay pursuit giving him and the two body guards hopefully enough time to escape out of the top EVA hatch does not tell me where they are set.

The FB grenades blew due to shockwave - Specifically they were the ones at the doorway between the catwalk platform and the door into the common area and Infirmary, the top of the stairs leading from the common area to dining area and the hallway to the engine room.

Now you posted Now I am at whichever of the farthest flashbangs that did not go off to give me a way to fight and retreat.

Farthest from what? Where are they?

Here is the route as I see it on the map.

 photo Serenity_Screen_01route.jpg

I suggested the top of the stairs before the gangway to the two shuttles because then you could deal with both doors being open without cutting of the two bodyguards and john who is in the infirmary below. Now if you are on the catwalk heading towards the stairs to the upper EVA, then if the Merc team comes through the doors for the shuttle, you'll be effectively cut off from everyone else.

So this is why I ask for clarification.
