Gunk-karg watched the whole room fall into disarray as the barbarian stormed in, almost breaking the door. He almost fell backwards in his chair but caught himself and sat on all fours again, and laughed as the barbarian yelled this and that for no reason, saying he's been waiting for ever. What an air of arrogance this man had about him, and Gunk-karg would of loved to beat it out of him, especially when he said something about putting people in their place. But that thought faded and he watched silently as the others talked and talked. This is what he as best at, listening and this is how he usually made his living.

Gunk-karg watched the woman who was the heir as she talked, obviously nervous. She spoke out asking if we were ready, and the dwarf next agreed that he was ready.

slapping both open hands on the table making a loud slapping noise and standing, Gunk-karg also agreed.

" There is wealth to be made on this trip, and who knows what we could run into as we travel. We should stop all this jabbering and finally get a move out."

Gunk-karg reaches down for his great sword and slings it over his shoulder, and adjusts the eye patch over his right eye, revealing for a moment the empty socket underneath. He tapped his tusk for a moment, wiped off his bald head and adjusted his leather bound chain shirt, making sure everything was ready for the adventure to come.

well my thought on this whole thing is that w/e the dm says goes, and that the arguing should cease when he speaks

Gruk-karg looked to Velina who spoke out about his comments.

"Fickle er not, if only a few of us come back then something happend, right? Even if then thats not enough we could bring some heads back, roll 'em out and show 'em whats what! Gettin' paid in lots more ways than you think, loots all good to sell and make a profit, also is the whole lot of assets we get if we're the heir!"

Gunk-karg looked around as he stood in the door way, his shaved head dressed only by the eye patch strap reaching around his head. His right eye covered by the black piece of cloth, hiding what gruesome sight that dwells beneath it. His left bottom tusk sticks out, the yellowish pointed tooth almost to over sized for his mouth. He grunted once and straightened out his chain shirt, looking around the room. He raised his arms and ran them over his greyish green skin, and adjusted the great sword that hung off of his back. He knocked his large studded leather boots together kicking some dried mud off of them onto the carper, looked down at it and entered, sitting in the chair that was brought in for him. He took his sword off and let it clamor to the floor and slid it underneath the chair, and then leaned back in his seat, putting his boots up on the table in front of him. From his looks he seemed unusually slender for a half orc, but none the less he was tall and muscles bulged out from where they could. He listened to what was said next.

"Gunk-karg Rooka-darg, your own presence on the list of possible heirs of the deceased is just short of reprehensible, as far as I am concerned, but it is legal, regardless. It is documented that the deceased placed your family's name on the list under duress. The reason for it is also documented, but is legally irrelevant here and now. It should be obvious that, had the deceased been able to provide issue from his marriage, none of you would be here now. As it turned out, his only effort to that dilemma was taken from him along with his wife. Therefore, Gunk-karg, legally, your claim is as valid as any of the others here who are of no blood relation."

" Meh names Gunk-karg Rooka-ROOKA-Darg." After that he just chuckled at the rest of the explanation on why he was here, and nodded slowly as in recognizing how wrong it was for him to be here. But here he was none the less.

Next this little half-breed asked a question about supplies, and how will the mission be proved its completion. Gunk-karg looked over to her and spoke.

"We figure out who gets it done by who ever comes back alive! Most of us will probably die anyways, crazy old man he was should never of played with those damned spells. Probably cursed us all to the nine hells."

Gunk-karg shrugs, and yawns with his tusk filled mouth wide open.

"But oh well, we all gotta die sometime and at least we're getting paid, right?"

Gunk-karg laughed haughtily and sat back straight in his chair, and went through what little amount of gear he had making sure he was ready.

Herald grabbed his rapier and unlodged it from the womans skull. He turned to face his enemies that were now charging up the hill, and turned to fight his "Friends" that he had traveled with. Now was the time for him to escape, and maybe these people on the hill could help him. He charged up the hill, rapier in hand and tried to get a flank against one of the men now stuck in the entangled spell.

Gammius leaned sat down next to the water and drank as the lay of the land was explained. It seemed pretty obvious that they should go in the pyramids direction as it was the only way to sustain life, so he nodded along with the decision and set up camp. Late into the night his watch came up and he dragged his feet getting up, but got to it anyways. It went uneventful and went to bed as the next perosns watch came up.

The next morning they started to pack up and Gammius chewed on a bit of bread while he folded up some part of his tent. A subtle rumbling started through the camp, knocking some of the bread onto the ground.

I didn't think I was that hungry...wait a minute ,

The rumbling got louder until rocks and debre flew everywhere as a large purplish worm exploded from the ground. Gammius's heart was in his throat from the shock it gave him, but instinctively he had his sword and shield in hand, ready to battle the creature. He approached it slowly as to block any stinger attack as was warned, and hopefully land a few blows before anything serious happened.

Xaris slowly opened his eyes to see Aelistae walking away, the life that he was surely going to leave now coming back to him slowly but surely. He sat up, and looked around. The moment before he remembered Bolikar about to kill him, now he layed in a heap on the ground. He sat up to see aelistae now sitting over a horse, healing it, while the dead all around lay motionless, the only survivors the ones from his party. But he hears voices, one of Linnix, which made him smile and another female. The conversation he heard made his hart start racing, as anger built up again. Who is this woman to claim these kills, acting so with such arragonce. He looked back to aelistae only to see her collapse over, and quickly with a worried rush Xaris got up, not retrieving his sword goes to Aelistae's side.

He collapsed over her, his body barely even covering half of hers, and worried as she lay unconcious. He did not know what was happening to her, maybe she was dieying infront of him or just passed out, but Xaris could not lose one of his friends after so much fighting.

" Aelistae, get up!" He shook her frame, and tapped her cheeks trying to ge her up, her roughed up look not making the situation better. "Aelistae, come on you need to get up!" He shook her some more, each time getting more fustrated until it happened. He tried to shake her some more and then grabbed her by the head, holding her still, talking. He was about to give up when his hands started to glow and tears welted up inside him, and an immense pain growing deep in his chest. Slowly the wave of blueish white spread from his palms, to his fingertips, and into Aelistae herself, bathing her for a few moments. After it was over, he sat back quickly, looking at his hands. What had happened, and how did he do it? He felt an overwelming sense of emotion and then pain, and then he noticed it. Aelistaes eyes fluttered, and she started to move again. He just sat there in amazement and watched her regroup.

(using 1 of my HP to have aelistae gain 2 and also regain conciousness[we've talked over msn and all of our stuff jives ;D])
