Ah, that makes much more sense. i was wondering what they meant by combining it with Aol and also talking about chat rooms. maybe they think we are them again?

I was reading the past log on when it got deleted in '05, and they said it was non- enclycopedial or something like that. I guess they see it as not needing to be up on wiki.

wait a minute i thought it went like this
line of goblins, gnolls,
xaris and rest
goblins
bart and them
if it is just like this:
xaris and others
gnolls,goblins
goblins
talus, bart etc
then i will skip the tangle foot bag and throw the thunder stone. that will mess a lot of those guys up hopefully. and i will aim at the 15 foot mark with the thunder stone, getting as many gnolls as I can.

Kharov followed the group of Khords up and out of the Spores of Itanlok. It was his civic duty to help find these children, him being the captain of the guard and all he had to keep an image, a shining example of Khordish ways.
He thought back, stroking his double braided dark brown beard as he walked, back on the conversation he had in the bar.
"Hey, nice to meet you. Aren’t you a captain of the guard over at the Shard Tunnels? My name’s Thunderbeard Brothstock, lieutenant at the Rivpax Shaft. I was thinking that you guys need all the good, able men you can get, right? I mean, it mustn’t be easy for you all down there, with all those gems disappearing lately. Can’t be good for business. See him? He’s one of those Cavers. Keeps to himself, but I’ve heard he’s one mean fight in ‘m. Why don’t you go over and ask him to join you? Just an advice that’s all.”
"I'll a-a-a-ask him la-la-later."
He remembers nodding and raising his glass to Thunderbeard, but spoke no more. He looked around the group and realized that same Khord that was dancing with the child was standing near him, and he went to speak, but decided now wasn't the time, maybe later.
He walked out with them, and watched as anothe went to get some things, and he went to. Briskly he walked to get his weapon and armour, and donned it as quickly as he could. Then he returned in his full battle dress, shining full plate and glistening axe sheathed away. His double braided beard was down to his shins, entwined with a golden lace, and the insignia of the shard tunnels guard on the right shoulder pauldron of his armour shone brightly. It was two golden axes crossed, with an emerald broken into three equal size shards emblazoned over the axes.
He followed closely as the group descended into the massive cave, not speaking once the entire way. He thought about speaking up, getting the attention of Groth and asking him to join, but not yet. They still were getting their bearings on the situation.
Soon they found themselves at the point where Thagovan found the child, and they stood. The only thing Kharov could hear was the low howl of the cave and the faint shouts of desperate parents.
He looked around and realized that Groth was closer than he expected, and tapped him on the shoulder lightly.
" After this I mi-might have a po-po-position in the Shard tunnel gua-guar-guard for you. Depending on ho-how well you d-d-d-do here."
Kharov looked to the floor for a second, almost ashamed at his imperfect speech, but he needed to ask, he needs the men. Over the years fellow Khord had learned to respect Kharov for his place in the guard and mighty strength. Not many dwarves become stone lords, and that alone shadowed his speech impediment enough to where people did not poke fun or even try to notice.

Ok, here are a few assumptions I'm making to my plan.
a) we are close enough so that i can throw and charge relatively in one or two rounds
b) i'm close enouh so i can throw all this stuff
c) we're gonna win?
heh
Oh and mundane throwing weapons FTW! =D

Xaris fought hard, swinging his mighty steel around and dropping goblin after goblin, but the wave never ended. It seemed for a moment that with each goblin he killed another two sprouted from its corpse, taking the place where it once stood. But eventually the wave thinned, and they withdrew. Xaris was confused at first untilt he blood rush drained and he could heard drums summoning back the goblins. He looked around and the many corpses that now defined the battle line, and in return beyond it a wall of pikes and spears showed up, wielded by gnolls and goblins.
what happened to being low in numbers...
The thought crossed Xaris's mind, referencing the letter found earlier in the camps. He had hoped the numbers at this time were small, and that the attack would be not as ruthless. Unless this WAS their small force. Xaris shuttered at what could of happened had they not come earlier.
Xaris turned his head as he heard the charging humans that were smashing into the wall of goblins. Above the heads of the goblinoids stood a figure clearly seen, one who they must of been after. But then he turned around quickly to see Bart, Talus, Linnix and Dylan stood trapped behind their own wall of goblins. This situation was surely not the best they could be in. Then an idea hit him. He dug into his pack for both his tangle foot bags and another thunder stone. He tossed one tangle foot bag to Artanis.
" Artanis, throw that into the gnolls, we need to rescue Bart and the others, we cant win with us seperated!"
With that Xaris launched his tangle foot bag into the line of gnolls, hoping to stick enough in place and not be charged by some of them. He then turned, sword in one hand and thunder stone in the other, and hurled it into the line of goblins blocking Bart and the other, and then charged in after it, hoping to cut a swath in the line to let the other rally witht he rest of the group.
( ok, trying to stop the gnolls from taking advantadge of a rear charge when i attack the goblins, and trying to disrupt the goblins also so it is easier to kill them. I hope this works, and this is to get everyone rallied together so we can fight as a group, and i hope tek and his group rally, so we can be one super group. Hope this works guys!)

Kharov felt slightly uncomfortable in a crowd this large. He usually was alone or with Grumbles, or in a crowd numbering no more than 6 at the most. Public settings weren't really his thing, but no way was this shining example of a Khord going to go against his peoples beliefs. He showed respect to fellow khords whenever he could, albeit through personal actions and not verbal praise. If he tried to talk to someone most of the time only stutters and interrupts would come out. Most Khords would think this an insult, so he usually just kept quiet to himself whenever he could.
Kharov stared at the couple for minutes, almost envying their relationship. But Kharov quickly shakes this feeling out of his mind, and raises his glass to the two out of respect, giving a silent cheer to them.
I with the two of you the best for centuries to come...
As soon as this thought crossed his mind, he started to lower his glass but a large blast behind him knocked him forward, and in turn his mug onto the floor. Magnumopus started to brush him off, but he turned to him and spoke.
"Wha-wha-wha-whatch it!"
His deep voice sounds odd with this studder, but none the less his voice bellows. He turned around and sat back on his stool, and gestured for another mug of ale. He sat quietly drinking, thinking to himself about how some Khords should not mettle in what is not known, and listens to the music of " catch the badger"

Sorry for the POS post, but I've become a casualty to the horrid flu season, and am in no mind set to type anything lengthy. But I wanted to squeak something in just so Xaris doesn't befall to some horrid fate. >.<

Xaris hurled the thunder-stone and watched explode in its glorious cacophony of death-defying sound. Many goblins were stunned, and Xaris took the opportunity to by-pass the weaker ones and head straight for anyone that looked like they would be commanding the goblins. Killing the leaders would surely demoralize the goblins to the point of surrender.

I will have an update done by today, if update goes up before then, then xaris will hack and slash anything that looks like a leader or anything that looks the most dangerous. He'll try for one on one combat with a commander if he can.

Xaris was staring at the gate when the fireball hit the goblin wave. He had to turn his head away for it happened so quickly his eyes could not adjust in time , and his retinas were over flowed with bright fiery light. Quickly all around goblins started to panic, and the earth seemed to tremble from this mighty spell. Surely a powerful wizard was behind this, and he was glad that they were attacking the goblins just as hastily as they were about too.
He watched Aelistae about to run off, when he grabbed for his sword in one hand and reached into his pack for a thunder stone. Bolting off after Aelistae he shouted, hoping she could hear him over the commotion in the fort.
" Do not get to close to the entrance, if it is swarming with goblins like it sounds, then I will throw this thunder stone and try to make them disoriented!"
Xaris focused his eyes on the gate they were running to, his eyes finally unwinding from the glaring fire that produced so much light. If in fact it was swarmed with goblins trying to get in, he will hurl the thunder stone before they get into combat, hoping to stun the puny goblins and easily find their way in.

I'll give this a go, I would really like to still be a player under your Dming, Almerin! I won't be playing with Loda, as she wasnt my character to begin with, so I'll come up with another kord character. I was thinking fighter/stonelord, is that ok?

Ok, I think our group should head towards the goblin camp north of the camp we attacked, or atleast a little bit between the keep and the camp, to cut off the goblins retreating between there. So I think our choices right now are either head straight to the goblin camp north of us, try to intercept the goblins retreating from it by moving inbetween the keep and camp, or god for bid we choose to split up.

Xaris lowered his sword, wiping the blood off onto the goblin, and then wiped off the goblins liquids off of himself. He looked around to make sure no more enemies stood, then sighed as the battle was over. No one was seriously injured, except for the newcomer that had joined them. This one was short like him, and he started to approach until Aelistae started to cast upon her, so he backed off, letting the healing commence. He looked around the sky as he sheathed his sword once more, and a brilliant light lit up the sky. An orc's face was all that he could see, almost like a constellation of pure evil. It spoke out, about rallying the goblins and withdrawing to the keep. A shiver flew down Xaris's spine, and he knew something had to be done quickly.
" I feel that we shall not let all of the goblins rally to the keep. Let us intercept some of them, cut them off and destroy them with their backs turned. It will only lesson their numbers, and we are here to take the keep, not run away from it."
Xaris unsheathed his sword once more, its blade lightly smeared with goblin blood.
" We should move now, give them no time to rally everyone."
