Topic: You Filthy Little Thief!!! Subject: .
Biensel quickly stopped playing as soon as the people surfaced and he could see Pio above water. He put away his lute and spoke to the crowd.
" Do what you can to help, get them out!"
He rushed over when they came to land and rushed to Pios side, kneeling down to look at him closely.
" I'm sorry I could not do much while you were submerged, I hope my playing was good enough. But now I can sooth you with my healing. Please, relax."
Biensel took out his lute again and stood, and started to weave a magical song that encompassed several spells, targeted at Pio. They were slowly sung ballads, meant to calm and sooth, relax the target. He hoped this would be good for them, atleast for now.
( will cast as many healings as I can to get him to full, or atleast close to it)

Pain was all that Xaris felt as the wolf tripped him, the sky above him quickly showing into his view. He landed on his back and the air was knocked out of him, but soon that was the least of his problems as the wolf happily lunged onto him, tearing his armour, clothing, and skin to pieces. Xaris merely kept his eyes to the skies as he watched in his periphreals blood and chunks of leather and skin flying around. His body jerked and bucked as the monster dug into him, but no matter what it did, it could not steal the life away from him. He glanced down onto his body, seeing deep red, now brighter than ever before since it rolled down on his snow white skin. He gritted his teeth, and thanked Baervan for the strength to hold on that much more, and that none of his friends had to endure the pain that he was put through. Surely this could of killed most of his friends, but Xaris held on, his purpose in this world not yet fulfilled.
He looked to his side, and seen his sword spilled out onto the ground, inches from his twitching fingers. He went to grab it when a beam of magical energy struck the wolf, then a flying creature came and tore it to shreds. The last thing he heard was the quiet sound of a bolt striking to wolf, its eye exploding above him and watching it collapse.
Xaris just laid there for a moment, waiting for the next thing to attack him. But nothing came, and the sounds of battle were waning, and the only moving near him was the twitching muscles of large wolf corpse by his feet.
He rolled over, blood that pooled in his chest cavity now flowing freely, and some blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. Surely only more attack would of punctured some vital organ, they were so close to exposure. Sitting up with his legs straight out, he could see the others infront of him starting to settle down and finally realize themselves that the battle for the lives had ended, and they have won. Eveyone seemed so healthy and so filled with life, he was glad none of them were hurt. His head slowly lulled around looking at them all, his blood stained white hair smeared acrossed his head. Blood rolled down his face, quickly rolling down the side of his mouth and dripping onto the ground. Below him a small pool was forming.
Right now he watched Aelistae strike down the last quivering wolf, and then an event unfold infront of him where she tried to kill herself, but everyone else intervened. He was going to say something, but his mind was slow in this state, extreme exhaustion taking hold along with these grevious wounds. He only caught bits and pieces of the conversation about disease and a temple half days travel. He didn't mind that me missed it, he just needed to rest and catch his breathe.
Soon healing came, and he watched as his wound on him evenutally healed up as spell after spell was cast on his small frame. Finally he was fully healed, all wounds internal and external healed but not forgotten. Still smeared in blood and with fresh scars, Xaris could only nod and smile a thank you as he fell backwards from his sitting position, his lips quenching for water and his mind begging for rest.
”Hard to have respect for these things though. You said these other wolves are lycanthropes as well? Maybe they have something of use hidden away same as their leader. We’ve all been ignoring the Terrasque in the corner. I’m going to need your help getting the two big ones over here. They look –really- heavy. And you look …different. How do you feel? This may seem an odd question, but are you… still you?”
Must have respect.... they were wolves once, creatures of the wood. Only looking, for good life...
That was the only comprehensable thought that went through his mind before he could form a sentance to answer Talus.
" I will try to help. But I cannot do much. My actions have drained me of all strength for now, and I need rest."
He stopped to cough and he sat up, wiping some caked blood on his face.
" Even though I am healed of wounds, the spells cannot give me what a good nights rest can."
He thought about how to answer the second part, and he told him, and the rest of the group if they listened about all he knew about what happened.
" And I feel fine. Nothing of me has changed except for my skin, hair, and... something. I feel like something else deep inside me but I cannot say what just now. But I think I know what happened."
He paused again as he caught his breathe, then spoke once more.
" The potion that I drank cost me almost all of my gold. The potion man said that it could have strange side effects if I use it, but he did not know what. This, must be what he was talking about."
Xaris looked over his body once more, thuroughly. His skin was the palest thing he has ever seen, and all his hair was now white as cotton fluff. Even his veins shown through him, like some albino cave fish with its organs the only pigment. But somehow he felt better and that this would only go to show that his vow and dedication is working. He smiled gently and stood up, slowly walking to the corpses.
" I may drap some, but not much else. And please, pay these poor beasts no disrespect. They were proper forest dwellers once, and should be treated like one. They are dead so no more violence should come to their corpses."

Xaris side stepped the first wolf that attacked him and he reached deep into his pack, reaching for the potion of supposed greatness. He wondered what kind of side effects could happen to him, but he didn't mind because it was either drink it or most likely die. He took off the stopper in the potion and began to drink, trying to keep the wolves infront and in back of him from attacking him. The first one he narrowly dodged as he brought the healing potion to his mouth, but just as he was going to drink the wondrous item, a sharp pain wrapped around him and engulfed his mind and body.
He watched as his small throat was ripped out, blood spurting from his small frame, with flesh and tendons flying in all directions. He tried to let out some sort of sound but only the gurgle of blood escaped his throat and blackness began to creep over his vision. Soon he would pass out and eventually death would encompass him. He only could do one thing before he fell to the blood stained ground below him, and he took the potion and smashed it across the horrendous wound. The crimson streams and blue liquid flowed over him, and for a second he thought nothing was going to happen. But just as the thought entered his mind, he began to feel it.
He thought he was dieying but still around him the battle was going on. Blueish white strands of energy were flowing around him, and soon they began to heal Xaris and all of his wounds. Quickly all of his injuries healed and soon quickly after that he felt re energized, as if he was in the best shape of his life and that nothing could stop him. But then it kept on going, the healing weave of white light seemed to radiate from him. His eyes were now a glowing blue and his hair a white diaphonous flow, and the healing kept building up. Soon he felt like he it was physically pushing him inside out, like he was going to explode outwards. He gritted his teeth as the healing properties extended outwards, but it was inevitable. Xaris could not stop it, he exploded.
He thought he was dead, but soon the white vibrant light faded and he was still in the battle, and the wolves were still around him. He looked at himself and his skin was of a whitest colour. It was whiter than the snows of winter and his hair was also white also. He could see his veins flowing through him were of a blue colour, and he was stunned. He realized that the fight was still going on, and that he had to finish off these wolves.
He reached behind him and grabbed his sword, wielding it infront of him. He looked at the wolf infront of him, and realized that it was healed of all damage he had done. But he had no time to wonder how or why, only that he had to kill this beast. He lunged at it again, hopefully finally killing it once and for all.

Holy crap...I am just stunned at what just happened here. I could never of imagined that this character could of ever been so fun! Thanks for the props, and I can just imagine the crazy dice rolling that must be going on with those mini dice. I just gotta say that I'll try harder now to RP Xaris to his fullest.

I now find that I will be of much use now that your all on land. I can heal and everything, so it's all good. also what should we do with this situation? Almerin said we could do a lot with it, and I haven't been here the whole game so obviously I'm sure some of you can come up with a better plan than I.

Xaris was mentally relieved that this wolf was not invincable, and it bled just like any other living creature, and apparently so did he. He took this moment to look over himself, and realize how wounded he really was. Only some sort of monstrous healing could help him. And then it dawned on him that he still had the healing potion with unknown side effects. Oh well, anything would help.
Xaris reached for the potion and drank it down, throwing the bottle to the side, and then readied himself for another attack from his fathers sword, spilling more blood from the monster wolf.

am I able to take an action drinking a potion, and then attacking the lycan leader once instead of a full attack? like using my move action to drink, and my attack?

I really don't like it because of how restricting the whole game is on race, class, and just everything else that makes DnD fun.

Well, I now have a brand new computer, and I'm just itching for a good game to put on there. I have medieval 2 total war, but it actually is TO good, and also Never Winter Knights 2, but also I need a better video card. So I went and installed my "Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor" game. Now I know it's crappy, and very boring, but I didn't realize HOW boring until I went and read some reviews about it. I read about some horrible glitches, and I'm scared to even uninstall it now. But I'm just going to get rid of it and install my Icewinddale 2 game. I never have beaten it so it should be fun. So with that, I leave the question and rest of the talking to you all. Have any of you run into some HORRIBLE rpg attempts, and also if you have ever run into some really good ones?

Oh I thought raging would cancel out the fatigue, but either way works. And yeah your plan sounds good. just as long as I get to swing at em! but a coup de grace would be what I am aiming for.

i think coup de grace takes a whole round, so the first round will be either getting up there AND attacking if I can, or just getting up there. The second round will be Coup de gracing if I can.

Xaris knew he had to get up. He couldn't lay here while these wolves recovered. He had to continue, he needed to fight on.
Xaris didn't hear much about what happened with Elesia, he was exhausted on the ground. But slowly, using his sword as a crutch he got off of the ground just as the creeping tendrils that held him in place receded. He did not need to worry about his opponent, he had already killed the wolf earlier. He did feel bad about killing him, but it was needed. Now he couldn't be corrupted by these evil wolves any longer.
He looked at his target that he originally wanted to attack, and seen it encased in crumbling stone. He needed to act fast and attack when it was vulnerable.
Digging deep within himself Xaris found a part of him that had not been unleashed yet. He let out a battle cry as he gripped his mighty sword once again and charged the massive wolf statue, ready to attack it as quickly as possible. He hoped he could stop this madness with killing this large beast, and stopping the blood shed.
(( Xaris will rage once again, getting him enough strength to charge the giant wolf and then coup de grace it hopefully by the time he gets there. The two rounds will be getting up to it and attacking it as many times as I can. I'm charging also so lets hope this works))

aw crap, what should we do now? I'm fatigued and can't really prove effective for the next few rounds. I'm getting that there are only four wolves left, out of ten including coo-shee wolf. We've killed a lot of them and now I'm not sure what we should do. press on or run?

There they were, standing in a large open field, waiting for the enemy to come to them. It seemed almost like the battles of long past that Loda used to hear of, two armies standing face to face, ready to fight. There was definately one army here, but then there was them. A lonely group of heros waiting for what was to come over this hill. Should they hide or stand their ground? They knew there were about ten little goblins; hopefully just enough to put up a fight. But then the ogre stood above them, urging them on. He would be a problem. She stood to watch her comrades and what they would do, then she decided upon their actions.
Loda began to cast her druidic spells upon herself, first making her skin as hard and resilient as the bark of a tree, (1st R) then casting the spell upon herself in which makes her as strong as a bull ( 2nd R) Then summing forth a magical ball of flames that she could willingly throw at any enemy within range. ( 3rd R) Then last she cast a spell to summon to her side wolves that would help them fight these enemies.( 4th R)
( will cast bark skin, then bull strength, then flaming sphere, then summon natures ally II, and summing 1d3 wolves)

Biensel kept on playing, but heard his sisters pleas for help. He nodded along with her, agreeing with what she was saying. He looked to the crowd, while strumming his lute.
" Yes, help us as much as you can. Listen to her speak and please do as she says!"
Biensel kept on playing, a fast paced tune to hopefully motivate the people to do what they can, but also inspire his brethren to do as much as they could. He had no idea if his musical magic would work under water or not. He could only hope so.
(( will keep on doing what he does best. Play.))

I think a few of those songs fit a few of the PC's just perfect... I especially like Bart's, his is quite fitting for him. A farmer brought out to see all of this war and gore right after the civil war was ended. everyone THINKS the lands are quite civil, but they aren't.

B: Xaris gets hit with lightning.

heh, woops. In my table top games we always play with max health, and I didn't realize that everyone else wasn't doing that. The 61 health is totally fine for me, I'll gladly take the change.

Xaris stood over the almost headless body of the wolf. He looked down to Artanis quickly and showed no emotion. His wild side had broken out once more and now he was nothing more than a wrath of nature, needing to kill these abominations of the woods. With two down and even more to go, it would be hard work, but they could do it.
He stood for a moment, with sword in one hand and clenched fist in another to gaze about the field, and find a target to take on next. He watched as the lead wolf cast a horrid spell at him, but he dodged it just in time to take a glancing hit from the lightning. He would have to be next.
Xaris sprung out of his roll that he dove into to dodge the lightning, and watched as he came to his feet as the lead lycan shifted into a massive wolf. Yes, he would definately have to die now.
Xaris gripped his sword in two hands, and charged the massive wolf, letting out a bellowing cry as his feet carried him almost effortlessly across the field. He would meet this massive beast in combat, and only one of them would come out of it alive.
