"The Master told me never to speak his name...he controls me...I listen. He gave me this place...it was his word that I would be rewarded. What business do you have with him...he has not taught you..."
He had said to much, and now he feared the masters wrath.

Adrian had had enough of this blasphemy. The Master was a pure being...he had no siblings...no kin.
"Stop...go...or I will tear you down..."
He knew Donald could feel the sting of his mind. He was beginning to grow more furious than he ever had. No one knew the Master but him. No one... The master had taken him when no others would. He had been shunned, and the Master saved him. Taught him...let him live as he did now. Now, the bloodshot one was lying to him. He lied about the Master. Adrian was so enraged, even the Earth groaned under his fury. If the bloodshot one kept this up, the entire school would be cleansed...along with everyone in it.
Adrian was now a ticking time bomb, and Donald had to be sure to cut the right wire.

"Adrian, you must relax. Explain to me this: how would I lie? Alexander faked his own death. I was at his funeral! Now, how would I know about him without know him? I know him better than you know yourself. I promise you, if you carry this on, I will give you a reason to hate and to fear me. Just so you know, I'm not leaving until Alexander comes here to reprimand you for speaking of him. Then you will see the truth. And I promise you. If it turns out I am lying...I will allow you to kill me however you wish."
He stopped. This one dared challenge the Master. He almost laughed. The Master never punished people physically. He had the power the torture from miles away, and now Adrian would feel his sting.
He collapsed to the floor, screaming so loudly the windows began to crack. Donald fell backward, clenching his ears. The Masters fury had been unlocked.
Adrians nose started to bleed, and soon scars were appearing on his face. Long gashes and cuts. He could not fight it...he would not fight it. The Master had taught him that punishment was neccessary for those who wronged, and he had wronged.
A large cut ripped open his shirt and it felt as if a knife was being dragged across his chest. The gash ripped open the flesh and cut even bone. But no blood erupted from it. He was being punished with pain, but the Master would not kill his pupil.
All the cuts appearing on Adrians body.....they were the same wounds Alexander "Died" from. He called on Earth, and the earth yelled out the name.
Adrians convulsions stopped, and the wounds healed. Donald helped him to his feet, and he felt everything change. His lighter rose out of his pocket, and the flint struck twice. Flame was created. Out of that flame, stepped his brother.
Adrian was still in so much pain, and the Master appeared before him, stepping from the flare of the lighter, he scrambled backward and grovelled in a corner. The Master was going to kill him...he had come in person to slaughter Adrian. For once, he felt the fear he had forced upon others.

Algus watched as Dawn doubled over, he picked Dawn up off the ground and helped her to a moth eaten mattress. He took a bottle of water he had bought from one of the vending machines and offered it to her. "You alright?"
Edward's hands were still shaking. He'd remained in silence for some time, but he had heard every word that was spoken. He knew now that there was something amiss. The holding circle...the chapel...now his new friend's dead brother was somehow pulling strings, it seemed. This place was weird, but strangely, he felt right at home.
He stood still for a moment, remembering his mistress's teachings on how to use fire to cleanse yourself of curses. He'd burned himself many times trying to harness the power, but there was something about this place that made him feel strong.
He spoke the ancient incantations, slowly at first, then building up speed, repeating the ancient chant softly. He felt his hands tingle, starting at his fingertips, then spreading to the rest of his body. He began to glow. As the chant reached its climax, fire began pouring from his fingertips, engulfing him. He continued the chant, knowing the pain was only physical until the spell was done.
He stood hunched over, breathing heavily, steam still pouring off his skin. He vomited black bile, showing the voodoo spell of cleansing had worked. At least his voodoo was good for something.
Donald stepped in front of Adrian, protecting him.
The voice of Alexander was cold.
"Little brother, why are you here?"
Donald didn't blink.
"I am here because you betrayed the family. You put mom through so much. Dad is dead now. And Adrian...he is no longer your slave."
"You've always been weak. You don't even have control over a useful element." Donald felt fire around him. He was going to be killed by Alexander. His own brother. The one he shed countless tears for. Subconsciously, Donald called out.
He knew his fate now. His brother overpowered death.
The Master raised his hand in fury, a mighty glowing sphere hovering above it. He brought it to and apex, and swung down, letting it go, and it flew toward his brother.
In fear that another innocent life would die here, Adrian let loose all of the energy in his body.
An explosion rocked the tower, an explosion that could be seen for miles around. When the smoke cleared, the tower was gone, but Donald and Adrian and Dawn, who had only just arrived, were safe, hovering in the air effortlessly. Suddenly, his energy gave out. He was more tired than he had ever been, and they fell.
The Master was not deterred.

Donald smiled. Spores flew all around, planting into Alex. He was weakened. Donald could only hope his hold on Adrian had been broken. But, Donald knew something. Alexander had not been accountable for all the deaths. That player had yet to be revealed.
He knew Alex would be back. He overpowered death. The earth helped them land safely, and Donald was asleep.
