What's that they say about payback?

Love the "repayment," Blammm...

"...I'll bring ya back a hat or somethin'."

B-E-A-utiful! *thunderous applause*

Haha!

Glad you liked that!

Brom: Asher isn't likely to question the Captain as he believes Sung has just got his s*** together. But I was wondering if having Wolf along for our little night on the town might be a good idea?

Wolf knows the locals, knows the area, and has some handy skills when it comes to electronics. I know that leaves Sam alone with the Doc... but what's the worst that could happen?

If need be, Asher could stay back and work on the mule. 'Course the Kid won't like it much, and will fuss a bit being left to "babysit" Dash... but it could work.

Completely a OOC thought... not sure if that's considered meta-gaming... I hope not.

Alacrity: Not that I really care much (though the Kid may), but can you tell me what Asher picked up from the bad dudes back at the bank. I had him pilfer the bad guys "illegal" weaponry (grenades and such things).

All: I'll likely be out for the next few days. September is a busy season here at work.

stuff

I will look over my list of gear that you might have snatched. Nothing special beyond the souped up gun of Ethan, which is now broke. Off the top of my head, you got a couple of 38 specials, a shotgun(shot), and that's about it.

Tann is bogged down with RL right now and will be very brief in his posts for a bit. So you may want to keep the mechanics involvement to a minimum unless you deem it very necessary.

Ah! Real life...ain't that just a kickin the...

Hmmm... good point. Had forgotten that Tann was getting an education and such. Nevermind 'bout my previous comment then.

And regarding the gear, like I said, not really interested in the stuff. Asher would have left the "regular" guns (.38 Specials, and such) and probably the broken handyman cannon too. Wouldn't want the authorities to be thinking we shot good townsfolk all unarmed and stuff... besides, Asher would have something against taking a dead man's gun unless he was in desparate times.

Anyway, I wouldn't really trouble yourself with it, Alacrity. I wrote it in more to keep the purple bellies from hanging around longer than need be. ("Holy s***, Captain! These guys had enough TNT ta blow half this dustbowl apart... I wonder where they got from?") That kind of stuff.

Thanks for the quick reply!

One more from Dash...

just more randomosity, really. Sorry for the drag... meant to post this last night but got side tracked and didn't finish when I thought I would.

Depending on what happens between now and then, Dash'll let the knitter do it's job and such. If he is able to be up and about before Wyatt, Willow, and Asher return from their poking around (and assuming there's nothing else to do) Dash will make himself useful by helping out Wolf with the Mule repairs, etc, if necessary.

Done and done

Weekend is coming. So if you'd like to post ... do so. From what I am seeing and hearing, Wyatt, Asher and Willow will head to the Lawrence (with perhaps James Blake providing an escort for Willow). You will be looking for JW and if he is not there, try his house, the schoolhouse or look for a parade.

Wolf will work on the mule and keep an eye on things at the Doc's place.

Sam is gonna lie back and let himself heal while waiting for someone to reach out and kill him.

Once payment is done, or at least worked out, the miners will come to the ship tonight to pick up the stuff.

If I missed something or messed up a step, let me know.

normal state

I thought that waiting for someone to reach out and kill you was Sam's normal state of being!

Laughing out loud

I'm not sure which is more entertaining...the game or the running commentary here

I hope to post before Alacrity does...just need to fight the urge to fall asleep as soon as William does....zzzzzz

I vote for both!

It's kind of like watching Firefly or Serenity and enjoying the Tv Episodes or the Movie immensely, then, hitting the special features and watching the blooper reels! As entertaining as the show/movie was by itself, watching the outtakes just added that much more to the experience.

JW

In order for me to write more than the intro, you could give me some idea of what you plan to say/ask JW when you do find him?

and

How much do I owe you anyway? I think it was 1000 credits. I can look it up easily enough but some of you have the knowledge at your fingertips.

(let's see, 1000 credits. Minus property damage to the band, personal suffering, loss of income, physical hardship)

Done.

I gave you that intro... though I didn't react much to Blake. I figure Wyatt would be more prone to react to Willow's reaction, than Blake's introduction, and since I didn't have that...well, I didn't react.

It was 1,000 credits.

thanks

That was great - give me enough to work with until a certain point. Cathy is going away for the week so she will hopefully post before she leaves.
