If you have a point to raise about a post of mine, it would be best put into a PM, not the public forum.
But since we are here -
What you write in your post is what you hope happens, not what necessarily happens. You may have intended for the sheriff not to hear you but maybe he made his hearing check, or maybe he reads lips, or maybe he didn't hear you but guessed based on your body language, or maybe he didn't hear you at all and is basing his comments on Sam's, Blake's and/or Wyatt's reaction. It may be a bluff and not about you at all. I'm not going to say because in this situation, you do not know. I play my NPC's as near as I can to real, so they make mistake (buying ham hocks) and sometimes they are damn lucky (natural 20!) but just like real life, you may intend one thing but another thing happens.
In the future, if you'd like to question the validity of my posts, I'd appreciate the courtesy of making it a PM.

...I was kind of waiting for an update for Sam, myself... did I miss it?
If nothing else has happened since his last, I suppose, ol' scruffy's meandering back to the spaceport, grumblin' to himself, and thinkin' about mebbe gettin' a drink before he goes back.

Hmmm....
...not that I figure the rest of the Frisco folks would cotton to it, much, but what would the implications of just leaving Jimmy to rot in Arness' jailhouse be, I wonder?
I mean... he pulled a gun on Willow of all people... don't he kinda deserve to be in a cage with "Big Bubba" after that?

I imagine it will all come down to Daddy, who will have a wave waiting for him when he gets back to the ship. I imagine his first question will be to Willow to confirm his son's account of what happened.

This is fun though. Actually, I just purchased Six Shooters & Spaceships, Out in the Black (don't worry, I am not reading it), the GM's Screens, and the first two graphic novels. I'm going to be starting my own tabletop Serenity game this weekend.

We are close to the end of the module so you can read it soon. You might find it funny to see where I wildly deviate from the storyline of the book. I know the first time I let Veronica read a module we finished playing she came to me and asked "where is this guy? I don't see any mention of the monster that attacked us here. Where did you get the whole subploy of so and so and whosit?"
I plagerize dramatically as a DM.

I'm kind of waiting for the Capt to post so I can play off of that.. and I assume that once Andrew is aboard the ship that he will be able to talk to Ma.. I will post to that as well.
