planning ahead

I foresee the next Rocinante post will be a woof moment - many days rolling by like "woof". So I need to know what you will be doing or plan to do.

I need to check the travel times but I believe you have 2-3 days back to Regina where you'll eject your passengers in the shuttle and head back to the comet-mine. That trip will be 4-5 days but you'll at least have elbow room.

Well...

Wyatt was going to have the meeting with the banker...um...try and figure out a way to punish Pearson without compromising anything...um...avoid the desire to drink away reality...um...yeah. That kind of thing.

hmmm

Well Andrew will just settle in and get acquainted with crew but he will avoid Pearson unless the man gets in his face. Not sure what else he will do yet. Just be right friendly like.

Sam...

...is likely gonna be Sam. He'll avoid the passengers when/where he can for the most part but, should he happen to interact with any of them, he won't be making any drastic personality changes. Won't have a nice word to say to Pearson, at all, for sure... Other than that, he'll be flyin' the boat, doin' his chores, or holed up in his bunk unless otherwise required.

Okay

Been busy lately and not with work. I have some health issues I need to address, I am taking a college course that isn't a breeze for me like the others and Will's B-day and Xmas are coming.

So, I will be moving the game shortly but I expect in two, possible three posts (by me) I will be stopping until after the holidays. The stopping point is a good one as an event will happen and you could have ongoing posts as you react to the event.

Once the holidays are over we will start again on weekly.

Grab the hook

The history of Ma is not a secret. Willow, Wyatt or Sam would have told you eventually.

The conversation started by Bowman with Wyatt will take place in the late "Morning" on day six of the journey. I will use it as tie into something so please, post where you think your character may be at that time.

Don't get all twitchy!

Twitch Twitch!

I would imagine the converstation between Wyatt and Andrew would take place in the common/dining room. But if Wyatt wants to change it I will leave that to him to say.

CWWLLO

I have chatted with Oddyson about taking over the role of Asher in the game. I felt that Oddy showed a real appitude for the character in Rautenberg and asked him if he was interested. He is working on going through the history and the firefly episodes.

We are close to the end of this campaign. I am working on the next on in my head and I hopes to have it ready for a soon transistion over.

Beavers

So....

based on your character's history and the general feel you have for them...

How familiar with Reavers would you say your characters are? I'm thinking that maybe Wyatt has had experience but no one else.

What say you?

Reavers...aren't they a myth?

Willow would have no experience whatsoever...and is not likely sure that they even exist. Usha made up all kinds of stories to keep her kids in line.

"There now, darlings...the photographers have gone so back to your governesses - don't pout, young lady, or the Reavers will take you!"

Mostly Folklore perhaps

Maybe only as myths and ghost stories other then that I would say none for Wolf.

And telling us this is kinda like a plot line spoiler right, gives away the surprise

There are no reavers in America ....

Actually no. There will be no reavers in this campaign. I am planning out the next three though and realized I have to throw them at you sooner or later. As I said before, wandering monsters in serenity are

1. Reavers
2. Reavers
3. Reavers
4. More Reavers
5. Companions
6. Reaver-Companions

reavers

I would say that Andrew has never seen a Reaver. But I rolled a die and decided that he did arrive once at a outskirts settlement after a "supposed" reaver attack and saw the aftermath. It has left an impression on him. He believes in them and wisely decides to avoid them whenever possible.
