Death

Ouch! That had to hurt. Poor Maggot, and Cor man, cant seem to stand for more than a second.

All that and these things are still unharmed, something is going on here. I am not familiar with all of this so look to some of you more advanced RPer for clues on what can these things be that they cant seem to be harmed by anything so far.

ideas?

Ok, now we know the creatures are immune to our weapons, immune to our spells, immune to magic fire and elemental fire but Tann insists it is a "simple answer" based on his "clues". Anyone have any ideas?

Just FYI to our DM; not all poison gases explode in contact with fire. Chlorine is extremely deadly and not flammable. Maybe once we can not go Boom?

Very True

But where would be the fun in that . However this time it was not the fire itself but the HEAT of the fire as stated in the post.

And it really is easy once you learn the creature's weakness however no one said LEARNING that secret would be easy. And hints are just that hints and hints are sometimes hidden within normal sounding phrases

Hey look another hint

thoughts...

They arent attacking sirene, cause they cannot see her, why dont we test of theory of turning invisible and walking past them. Sirene is unconcious (and we dont know whats wrong, and I am poisoned I will ask for healing while sending my familiar (horrible at the spelling of his name) Niamderis or whatever lol...to go find sirene.

Walk right in............

As I had said Ulthok can take Athena right to the stand now with demension door because he has seen it and knows right where to go. We have seem it so he can open the door and lead her through if they are touching. With the creatures gathered around the stairs that would give Athena time to get the sword before they could cross back to the stand. She can then, I hope, control the creaters. Maybe even cast invisible on Athena and Ulthok uses his ring so they aren't seen at the stand.

Do we know the the glow is the sword or are we still guessing?

Can Althena confirm that the glowing light is the sword?

Ideas?

The sale of my company went through and I just heard that the salaried staff will hear this Friday if we have jobs.

So...........

Pardon me if I get a bit distracted.

Hmph

Well, I'm all out of ideas, but I do agree that we should try going straight for the sword.

Sirene isn't unconscious but 'stunned', so she should be able to do something after she dusts herself down.

Who'd have thought that a summoned magical cloud would be combustible? :-/

PS. A Heal spell will be able to get rid of the poison, if no one has a Neutralize Poison spell memorized.

Well, in this game all our "cloud" type spells have exploded.

Ok look

Your right SOME have interacted wrong in certain situations but that does not mean they all will, so stop picking at this Keeper .

Remember what the party was told when you first entered the mountain.

"Nothing is as it may appear"

There are reasons why things that normally don't go boom, go boom and things that go boom may not go boom and if you don't know what will go boom it might make you think harder on what to do then just throw a fireball into a room hoping that will take care of the problem.

.

Not picking; just letting a new player know what we have experienced so far.
