Ok everyone your Evil DM has returned from the best trip in a long time. My Mother turned 80 and I reconnected with my Son of 22 years who I had not seen or heard from in 5 years.
We have already made plans for me to possibly return to MD in September, and he coming for sure to Texas in November. I have posted a pic of Mom and Son below and will start posting again this coming Sunday. So once more GAME ON!!

I was thinking for getting in that we send most of the flying troops to divert the enemies, while leaving some to escort us directly to the castle. A noticeable problem with this is it leaves us in a noticeable group, so we may lose the element of surprise.
if we atk their castle then the army can take the fort. Astrid there are 10,000+ troopps in Craggian Core the party leaving will not make much of a dent in those numbers.
if we atk the castle and try to sneak in it would be kinda expected. even if we do multi atk ? With so many 'good guys' attacking the castle sneaking in is not going to be possible unless you all come up with a really really good plan
what info do we get from scout parties? any sewers or back ways we can sneak in? No scout parties this attack IS the scout party if you want to call it that.
Ok let me clarify... This is a flying Castle it has no sewers or tunnels just a stone base upon which sits a normal but evil looking fortress. Think of the castle as the alien ships in Independence Day only somewhat smaller. As for an escort there is none they will all be fighting vs. the dragons. Look at it this way the Eagle riders, Pegasus riders and the rest are fighter planes engaging the enemies defending fighter planes while you, the bombers, try to get through to the target. There will be no fighter escort as they will be engaged. You as the bombers will have to find a way to get to the castle then to penetrate within it to find the power source and destroy it thus destroying the castle itself. How you get there is up to you the party but you’re not the only party/people trying to get there too. At last count there are about 100 volunteers going.

Ok kiddo you are starting to see that this game isn't your usual D&D. You get to be a Super Hero with so many goodies because we fight the worst and badder baddies. The situation always change by chance and we adapt or die. Ulthok has already died once and he's back.
So blindly go with noone has gone before!
Or was that boldly??? Anyway plans are good but mostly to help the rest to coordinate some.
We are flying up to something we have no clue of what we will meet if we get past the gargoyls.
So I hope you chose good spells, I hope I chose good spells, lol.
Now let's read Tann's post again for some clues, ask more questions and compare ideas.
We should think about how to get up and into the castle. It won't do much good to land outside.
Tann, we all held hands and Ulthok cast invisibility could he make them all invisible with one spell? It's a touch spell so he would be touching the mass so they all get the effect, kind of like turning a giant invisible.
We would all stay invisible as long as each doesn't attack. We can hear each other, just not see each other. So we'd want to dicuss a target area to land. Some may want to stay in contact so they don't feel abandoned.
We need to get in before we go beserk.
BTW, Sirene and Weaver both have Improved Invisibility which will allow attack. So would the same work if all were connected when the spell is cast?

So, what if we were to split up with some of the more combat oriented characters to draw off attention of the stealthy characters? The major problem I can see is if this fails, it will fail catastrophically. So maybe it is just too much of a risk...
If we manage to become invisible, it won't matter though. If we aren't able to use spells to become invisible, would it be possible to get our hands on some potions of invisibility?
