Don't Cast On the White Knight.....Melee Him......
I noticed in Tann's post that gem on the Knight was glowing. It could be a good sign that he has a protection from magic spell on him, so just kick his butt with melee.
Serten's Spell Immunity
Level: 8 Schools: Abjuration
Range: Touch Components: V, S, M
Duration: 1 turn/level Casting Time: 1 round/recipient
Area of Effect: Creature(s) touched Saving Throw: None
By use of this spell, the wizard is able to confer virtual immunity to certain spells and magical attack forms upon those he touches. For every four levels of experience of the wizard, one creature can be protected by the Serten's spell immunity spell; however, if more than one is protected, the duration of the protection is divided among the protected creatures.
For example, a 16th-level wizard can cast the spell upon one creature and it will last 16 turns, or place it upon two creatures for eight turns, or four creatures for four turns.) The protection gives a bonus to saving throws, according to spell type and level, as shown in the following table.
Spell Level Wizard Spell Priest Spell
1st-3rd +9* +7
4th-6th +7 +5
7th-8th +5 +3
* Includes beguiling effects.
The material component of this spell is a diamond of at least 500 gp value, which must be crushed and sprinkled over the spell recipients. Each such creature must also have in its possession a diamond of at least one carat size, intact and carried on its person.
Also the Hooded ones only got their hoods toasted from the lightening so I bet they are protected too. Try to clear the Orcs and Giths Guards then we have a clear shot at the Hooded ones, the big Gith and the Knight.
If the confusion works, Cor could cast Flame strike without provoking 4 attacks of opportunity to try and finish off as much of the forward line as possible. The only problem is orc #8 would be able to attack Cor in the process if Cor used a spell. I think it would be worth the trade off in damage to do attempt to do as much damage as possible to most of the orcs.
Edit: Since it's a 5 foot radius x a 30 ft column, Cor could hit orcs 2-7, right?

Ok Schnozzle as this is your first real combat in the game I'm leaving you extra time to post what your doing.
Normally if a player does not post during the week between posts I just write around them unless something is needed.
However during combat if a player does not post during the two Sundays I take over the character and NPC him as I think the character would react in the situation he finds himself in. As such I'm giving you till Wednesday to get a post in to what action your taking.
If you have any questions feel free to post them here or PM me.
Also Astrid very good post you hit it on the nose. I have to say this, the posts this week like always have been very good. Keep them coming.

Both Cor and I have the ability to fix up Lothor, though we are both fairly distracted ATM. My inclination is to try and finish off the Gith in front of me, then take care of L. He should be able to make it that long, barring something like another fireball attack.
I may not be able to post before Sunday depending on the internet at my accommodations for the weekend. I leave at 4 am on Friday, but hopefully I will have access to internet later that day.
As for this fight... I'm not sure... I think Schnozzle is right that we have to fight off the Gith before our characters help Lothor, but it will have to be quick. If worse comes to worse, Cor can cast hold person on the Gith he is fighting, then heal Lothor.
EDIT: Actually, Lothor has the ring of regeneration, so he's not in as dire of states. I'd still prefer to heal him as soon as possible, however. He is our sole fighter after all.
