Loaded Dice #61: The Final Battle (Part One)

Finally, a new comic is up!

Check it out, please let us know what you think. Annick is beginning to make the comic her own, though it is certainly an ongoing process.

If you enjoy Loaded Dice, please do vote it up at Reddit.

Ooooh! Final battle!!! *tingletingle*

Good work, again, O' ye artists and wordsmiths... I particularly like the way Steve looks in that last panel... I've imagined Olan assuming that very posture more than once as he was updating Zombies in Chicago.

Keep it up, folks... and we'll keep following along.

Hey, hey!

Faces are greatly improved in this strip's art! Ice Haunt's expression in the penultimate panel was fantastic! I'm glad to not see Rich this time owing to the drama rising in the story now. Heh, maybe he's saving all his puns for the denouement and will unleash a torrent of them later.

I think we all see ourselves (or our DM's) in Steve on that last panel--Nice!

Worth the wait, Boss! Thanks to you both!

If everything is going well before the last page of the book: BEWARE

If there's one thing you learn while reading well-written stories, it's that when everything goes smoothly at first, things will turn around at least once, to give the heroes a proper struggle to earn their victory out of.

Also: does anyone else think it amusingly odd that the room Father Frosty was in is lit by torches?

Torches . . .

were magical, giving off light but no heat.

The group visited this room before their last rest break... perhaps these are really long lasting torches?

I'm glad you're happy with the evolution of the comic.
And yes, the torches are magical, infinite light and no heath
