Then I am the only runner?

Before I make my reply, my sheet says I'm owed some favors. How much time do I need to call in those favors? And what kind of favors can I ask of them?

Brom...

Do you want us to repost or are the edits that were made good enough?

I haven't dug in too deep, but

Edits ought to be good enough for now.

Let me clarify something though: by nature 'Punk is a very unforgiving game. There's a reason why not everyone can cut it. Even Shadowrun (which is a cheap rip off of the genre and a pathetic attempt at The Dark) is soft by nature compared to 'Punk. I spared the three characters this time because I realize that there was a basic misunderstanding among the players of not only the system, but the character's roles within the story. If I didn't clearly illustrate my point in "Scribe's Vision", as we'll now call it; I want to make sure everyone understands: There are no untouchables in 'Punk. You have to really determine who you're willing to push attitude on because you don't win in this game; you survive, or you don't. What I consider part of the beauty of the game is that your character's are always strapped for cash, they're always on the verge of great loss, and they keep on fighting--sometimes alongside the gato they were running against the week before.

So, let's keep that in mind in the future shall we?

Edit: I've been doing some thinking about where things are. People have written quite a bit, and the reactions so far (waiting on Flirt to post a different post) while better, aren't completely defusing. I think I'm going to try and find time to take what's been posted thus far, condense it into one post that fixes the situation to a point where we can continue with some semblance of a storyline, and then we can move on.

Flirt, if I don't have a post from you by Sunday I'll make it for you.

you could go ahead Brom...

I don't have time to make a post this week/end because I've been working odd hours with an old boss of mine. I haven't been home in like 3 days, and right now I'm heading out to visit family that came down from Quebec and is only staying a few days. I'll more than likely be all booked up for the weekend. Everything should be fine by next week. Sorry

hmm

Seems I need to edit my post too. Then again, I think I'll wait for Brom's fixed past/future before doing so.

I've put in the current post.

It is now in a place where everyone should be able to post.

Great post brom

I'm applauding both your generosity in keeping my fellow players alive and your excellent skill at making that work.

I concur

Very good post Brom it reflected the removed posts and toned things down in a very nice timeline of events so to speak.
As for on the spot needs I would really like some more ammo but above all else silencers for the submachine guns Preacher, Peacekeeper and myself are carrin. Any hope of that as no matter your answer it will still go into my post.

Time is a bit of a problem.

With ten minutes to the meet it isn't likely you have time for anything other than what you've got going for you now. Unless you decide to forego the meet that is.

Its been pointed out...

I left Firewind out of the lineup, and there's some confusion on who's doing what. Quite simply, nothing has been decided in stone yet. DigitalScribe has suggested the following (adding Firewind in):

Jack and Piper go do what they need to do in order to clean things up a bit for all involved.

DigitalScribe and Guardian hit the media option.

Peacekeeper, Croaker, Preacher, and Firewind go take care of that dangerous little Biotechnica Lab operation.

Spiff and Bull's Eye handle the meet.

Medical care from Firewind hasn't been taken care of yet as you haven't really had all that much time to do so, and outfitting yourselves with new and improved gear or additional ammo, etc. in preparation for this meeting isn't likely since you'd have to leave the University in ten minutes just to make the meet on time.

Keep in mind, this is a suggestion from an NPC, and that doesn't necessarily mean that it is the correct thing to do, but it doesn't mean that it isn't either. NPCs in my games make mistakes just like everyone. Time is running out however...

Where's Logan

Ok I noticed Logan's last post as Bullseye was over a month ago and I have not seen a post from him in that time also in Paradyse Lost, anyone know whats happened to him.

Also Brom I see you have listed Jack, Piper and Scribe as NPC's does that mean you are looking for players for them??

Nope on both accounts.

I listed them so you would all have a list of the key characters is all.

I may have to put Bull's Eye up for adoption.

so...am I going as the Merry Death or whatever, or did we decide something else? I definately couldn't grasp it when I had so many kids talking to me at once.

Your with Me Kiddo

No Peacekeeper is going with Firewind,Preacher and myself to hit the Biotechnia lab.

Do you really think Croaker would let you out of his sight unless there was no other choice. He really does not want Bullseye to go with Spiff as the two of you are all the Family he has left but at this point he does not have a choice.

Hope that helps my friend
