I can haz question?

Exactly what size is this skeletal monstrosity? I was under the impression, based on the "I used to be a man" backstory that it was a simple medium skeleton, yet some of the posts make it out to be a giant... so which is it?

The Skeleton

Is only a human skeleton. Normal sized. What made him out to be bigger?

my bad

sorry, i took it as a slightly larger skeleton. lol

still, as an undead sentient taking on a whole party, this skinless, muscle-less being has some brass balls. lol

Update status.

Hey guys. Going to update sometime this weekend. As for the Skeleton's "courage". He actually is supposed to be a BAMF. Haha.

Post Nine.

Alright. The skeleton sunk his teeth in this time. Malagaar took 13 damage. 9 slashing, 4 fire. Canicus took 6 damage. Malagaar managed to inflict 4 damage on the skeleton as well.

Other than that, there were a lot of misses. And Arimm was pretty sneaky, considering the circumstance bonuses against stealth were monumentally high. Grumbles. No flaming rogue yet. Haha.

I Saw.

I knew you were going to do this. I just thought my bad boy would stop you first. Now I have to try and extrapolate rules for a hanging. Haha.

Distracting ability

Is there an ability to distract? Because of there isn't, I'd rather not waste your time requesting it more than once. If there is a distracting ability I would like to know how it works.

Thanks in advance.

well....

if you want to do a REALLY good distraction, drop your weapon, and charge the enemy head-on. you will likely die, but they will be distracted. lol

ok, sorry, prolly didn't help. but short of pegging a rock off their head, different mind control, or mind affecting magics could do it. (But i dont think the skeleton has a brain)

Distraction

I would think either perform or bluff skill checks could be used to present an effective distraction; but that would of course be up to our DM.

Distraction Rules.

The short and long of it. Yes. They do exist. Typically it has to do with the bluff skill. And yes. Skeletons are immune to mind affecting spells, but calling him a chicken wing could be quite the piss off. This guy is far from mindless after all, and thus there is also an ego within. So he could be insulted. That in mind, bluffing isn't the best class skill for a Cavalier. Haha.

Happy Holidays!!!

Hey guys. Hope your holidays are treating you well. I'm going to wait until after New Years to update, thought I'd let you know, just so you don't feel as if I've abandoned you. Have a blast welcoming in 2013! Also, hopefully our friend the King shall make it back to us before my next update.
