Ok hereís my two cents. I agree that we continue to charge East, hit those skeletons in front of us and break through. However I say we do not stop to fight them.
I think it would be much better that once past them we continue to run until we meet up with the crew of The Toothless Dragon. Per one of Hammerís early posts stated they are set up in prepared positions to help us if we get in trouble. Well I think this qualifies as trouble. Once we reach them THEN we stand and fight with better numbers and from a defensible position.

Regarding Movement Rates
Yes, the Skeleton Pirates are moving at a 30 feet per round rate!
PC Characters have been moving slowly, examining the rubble, looking for treasure, NOT moving at your best normal rate of speed.
So your Inexperience as Level One(1) is considering running for help ???
These Skeleton Pirates are Enchanted in Some Ways!
You Will Sadly Discover Skeleton Movement Rate is Normal, while PC Movement Rate is Reduced and They Will Overtake You Before You Even See the Place Where Dagger and the Others were in a Defensive Position!
Let Alone Get Off the Rubble!
Also, the Gnome has a regular rate of 20 feet, which he may or may not be able to keep up, so are you going to leave him behind or will you all band together and fight now to help each other ???
The Answer to what has happened to this city and these Skeleton Pirates (at least partially) will be found not too far away to the north direction!
Like I said before, I am NOT trying to Kill Your Characters, but it is Possible, depending upon Decisions and the Roll of the Dice!
Only thing we gain by charging in line to the east is being in line when the others come up behind us for a rear attack. Running will not work. Form a circle and whack them. Circle the wagons works in the westerns.
The Maximum Ambidextrous Swings with a Weapon (Sword, Staff, Axe, Hammer) or Missiles (Arrows, Bolts, Sling Stones) is 4.
All Characters get 1 Swing or Arrow, Plus their Dexterity Bonus, but No More Than 4 Swings or Missiles per Round when Fighting!
Cast & Characters
Amur 'Nimblefingers' of the Red Buttons [played by Archangel] a level 1 (Half Elf of Elf Lineage) Rogue worships Hermes is Ambidextrous and gets the Maximum 4 Swings or 4 Sling Bullets for +4 Dexterity and has an AC = 12 Tohmas Goodwood [played by Odyson] a level 1 (Human) Druid worships Atira is Right Handed and gets 2 Swings or 2 Arrows for +1 Dexterity and has an AC = 12 (but AC is +1 for a shot to the Head for wearing a Leather Hat) Willem Bariendul [played by Jozan1] a level 1 (Human) Fighter worships Baldur is Ambidextrous and gets the Maximum 4 Swings for +3 Dexterity and has an AC = 13 (AC is boosted +3 = 16 during the Day for worshipping Baldur) Maithias Crowmarhte aka Crow [played by Tann'Talas] a level 1 (Elf) Ranger worships Betula is Ambidextrous and gets the Maximum 4 Swings or 4 Arrows for +4 Dexterity and has an AC = 13 Vincent Wysman [played by Kamina] a level 1 (Human) Knight worships Mars is Ambidextrous and gets the Maximum 4 Swings for +4 Dexterity and has an AC = 15 (+1 for One Foe with his Medium Wood Shield) Bartimeous Dathier [played by Salvator Navaar] a level 1 (Human) Cleric worships Toft is Right Handed and gets 1 Swing for +0 Dexterity and has an AC = 13 Mylos Goldspinner [played by Brundel] a level 1 (Gnome) Bard worships Amber O' The High Woods and is Ambidextrous so gets the Maximum 4 Swings or 4 Bolts for +4 Dexterity and has an AC = 15 Jaufre Vanvoie [played by Tuned_Out] a level 1 (Human) Paladin worships Cedrus and is Left Handed so gets 2 Swings for +1 Dexterity and has an AC = 12 (+1 for One Foe with his Medium Wood Shield) Elyra Nightshade [played by Angelic] a level 1 (Elf) Bard worships Brigit and is Ambidextrous so gets 3 Swings or 3 Arrows for +2 Dexterity and has an AC = 13 Areldor Glanolwath [played by Ziklag] a level 1 (Half Elf of Human Lineage) Illusionist worships Minerva and is Ambidextrous so gets the Maximum 4 Swings for +4 Dexterity and has an AC = 10
Although he only gets 1 Swing because of his +0 Dexterity, he is carrying a +1 War Hammer blessed by his Dwarven Deity Toft, so as long as he hits one of these particular Skeletons and does not miss, the Skeleton Pirate Dies!
Also, he has a Dwarven Spell that Reveals Gold, so when you all dispatch the Skeletons and get up to the Happy Water sound, he can cast that spell and tell you if any Gold is in the area!
With the info Hammer has givin I say stand and fight. I know I have the lowest hp and the worst AC but I am more than willing to fight on the front line. Say we circle up and pray then start swinging. Hey maybe those eye patches will work too.
Since i am near Elyra I guess i will see that she is still wearing the dog gone thing and it will inspire me to pull it out and wrap it on the club. I don't think i have any time to put around my neck or arm

I will Allow Any Character who decides to put on their Eye Patch in Full View of the approaching Skeleton Pirates, to Back Post that they Cover One of Their Eyes or strap it Over Their Forehead, as long as the Skeleton Pirates can see the Eye Patch when they confront your character!
If it is tied to a Wrist or Arm, the Skeleton Pirate would still have to see it when approaching, for the Eye Patch to do any good in this situation!
If It Does!
