AC-TING

You know, I think about that a lot. I hated Davena. Those first collab posts, I really, really despised that character and what she was doing to Kith. Buuuuut I had to change my mindset when Kith started breaking. I donned my Team Bae-vena shirt and the attitude followed.

She's pretty cool, you guys.

ALSO, should we go into the Freudian aspects of Kith getting with a woman Aranwen had also been with? It's actually already been established in KCandK that they have pretty similar tastes--both of them had fallen in love with orange-haired, violet-eyed Sylvaris, so maybe they are just a lot alike? Kith hasn't really gotten kitty-fever (sorry Ch'dau), so there is that, but other than that, blade mum and stabby girl are preeeetty similiar as far as romantic . . . journies.

Yay

Well I'm sure there's some room for little Cedric too somewhere in there. Three's not a crowd really, right? The more the merrier and all that.

And if they can't be a thing, then perhaps the Mistress is into boys too... See, no need to punish Cedric even! He's a quick learner. He already knows how to address the Mistress... when he is given permission to do so ofc.

Nighty night

Hmmm.. Maybe I'll just head to bed already. Independence Day tomorrow and all... Oh and the post. I'll need my energy and a clear head.

so much to unpack...

@ THAT WORD.  But... but... what of my book of poems that you so dearly love???  You deny me once the light of day shines on my work????

Re: changing attitude... that's what I'm saying.  It has been so interesting to see how passionate you have been in both directions!

re: Freud... Oh, I totally think that we should address that.  I mean, maybe one day, the gals can kick back and share Davena notes.  I think that sounds like a WONDERFUL mother/daughter experience.

Raven is KILLING me, .  Who knew that sweet blushing Cedric owned a full leather suit complete with zipper mouth and ball gag?

LOL @ kitty fever!

No worries, kibibi! Ch'dau's a fighter not a lover (most of the time, anyway).

Besides, once you go cat you never... um... wear pants???

I dunno!

It's been a loooooong day.

The food of love

For anyone interested, as we were writing The Fall, I had also stumbled across this song by Aviva called Rabbit Hole.

The lyrics and sort-of-weirdness of the song really stood out to me as nearly aligning with the twisted relationship that is created between Kithran and Davena. It's also right up my alley, style-wise, so for me and that moment, they went pretty well together.

I could say I'll take you
I could say I'll make you
But underneath all I plan to do, to do is break you
You could be my breakthrough
Watching demons wait 'til
I leave you, and they can initiate you

. . . . .

I will always wait for you
I'll always be waiting
I will always follow you
'Cause you cannot escape me

On the topic of music

This song feels like it might be appropriate to the current situation

Now open your eyes, while our plight is repeated
Still deaf to our cries, lost in hope we lie defeated
Our souls have been torn, and our bodies forsaken
Bearing sins of the past, for our future is taken

That chanting in the beginning makes me want Ch'dau to get up and use his last breath to make Sloppy D'hurganites.

Tossing some Nobuo in the mix?

Forever a fan of the legend

Thy Life is a riddle, to bear rapture and sorrow
To listen, to suffer, to entrust unto tomorrow
In one fleeting moment, from the Land doth life flow
Yet in one fleeting moment, for anew it doth grow
In the same fleeting moment thou must live, die and know

Always good stuff.

caught up!

Okay, folks... the last of the flashback posts is now up.  We're up to date with how Kithran got to the point she is at, and as soon as we get a post from Raven, I'll move the game forward.

I know that was a TON of reading, so I hope I didn't bore you to death.
