On your travel from the mountains into Thay you come across nothing but other travellers. As you reach the port of Thay you must wait but four days on arrival for the boat to ilipur. You are told that the trip will take at least a year. The voyage was good during the summer but, during the winter, icicles started to form on the side of the boat and on some of the sailors eyebrows. On arrival at the docks of Ilipur you step of the Golden Seamistress and into Ilipur oce you are there where do you travel?
As you travel the winding roads to Amn you have a clear journey but as usual there are bodies dumped in ditches but as you get closer to the capital more and more bodies appear in these ditches.
As you wander into throught the gates of Amn you are Immediately stopped by guards but these are not city guards adorned in full plate and longswords these are street thugs dressed in studded leather and have clubs waving menacingly in their hands.
The pair stop you and ask of what business you have here. You can see from over there backs that the city is not the splendour that it used to be some houses and burn on the roof and only few citizens walked about the place and from the way they moved you can see the were fearful.
The two guards lower the hands to nearer their swords and clubs and reply to you "Well what has happened is the buccaneers hold Amn now, oh by what i have heard you two are the very generous expeditioners who gave us even more land we thank you very much." the other guard chuckles at his friends remarks and eventually his face sours again and grimaces as he raises his club and says "Now beat it!" loudly.
